Visiting Munich? Always a good idea. I have visited this beautiful city many times, but rarely have we felt as comfortable as we did at the Andaz in Munich-Schwabing. An all-round wonderful feel-good experience! From the warm welcome to the excellent food in both the rooftop bar and the restaurant on the ground floor – simply great – a fantastic atmosphere and, yes, even at breakfast, no wish remains unfulfilled. Those who like it will find a good spa area. So: off to the Andaz. Enjoy Munich!

My wife and I travel a fair amount. We arrived at the Andaz from Frankfurt a bit tired. The check in process was seamless and the staff very professional. The hotel is stylish and very clean. The location is also nice, a short tram/train from Marienplaz. The coffee shop Bicicleta, was also a high point, not only for the food, but because of Roman, who works there, and apparently, everywhere. By the time I got downstairs to get food and coffee, I was informed the coffees shop was closed. This did not bother Roman who was happy to serve me despite being closed. While this is not totally unheard of, it was the friendliness with which he helped. I ran into him a few times over the next few days. He was alway helping others, in tge coffe shop; the bar; wherever needed. He remembered my name despite how busy he was. These things make for a perfect experience. A beautiful hotel in a great location with fantastic service. Keep up the good work and give Roman a raise. We'll be back.

The hotel itself is according to expected brand standard, love the brand Andaz and I'm loyal Hyatt customer. ADDITIONAL NOTE to the fellow travellers; I experienced repeated billing problems that future guests should be aware of. On my first stay, I was charged twice for the same period without the staff noticing the duplicate payment. I only found it by checking my bank statement. Not to mentioned I had to negotiate my negative experience with managament, which only made it worst! During my second visit with my son, breakfast was included in our reservation, but the hotel informed us that it wasn’t, so we didn’t use the service. Despite this, we were charged for breakfast for every day of our stay when checking out. I recommend anyone staying here to carefully review their invoices and bank statements afterward.

The location of the Andaz is quite pleasant as it’s located a little north o city center but only a 10 minute train ride (stop right outside hotel) to city center. Before my family set foot in the hotel, Laura contacted us and ensured my wife and I had connecting rooms with our adult kids. We are see a suite upgrade and the corner suite (702) was definitely worth it! Very well laid out with plenty of room and had an included half bath and microwave. The attention to detail the hotel provides is bar none. Every employee exudes the Hyatt Andaz professionalism one would expect and there were a few employees that stood out. First, Glegoly, at check in, made our experience much nicer with a glass of beer and water for the family. Miriam and Lilian, working the breakfast were absolutely amazing. They ensured all of our needs were met and the breakfast is WORTH IT! Globalists get this for free and it is truly worth partaking. During the managers reception, Ramon made sure we had all of our needs taken care of and went above and beyond on two separate occasions as well. Thanks for that!! All in all, a great place to stay as a WOH member and we will definitely be back. Thank you Tram Andaz Munich!!!

This is a large modern business hotel. The manager checked us in and he was extremely hospitable and helpful. For a small charge we upgraded to a huge suite with a living room, dining room table, huge bedroom with dresser drawers, multiple closets, a king sized bedroom with nightstands and charging plugs. The bathroom was huge with a long counter, bath and separate shower. The drawers in the closet need better alignment. My brother and sister-in-law had a more standard room but it also was large with a sofa and big bath and big closet. Towels could have been a little softer. Breakfast was a large buffet and a separate menu for eggs and other breakfast items. Service was very good both here and in the bar. At check in the manager recommended an Italian restaurant for dinner near by and it was excellent. We were right on the tram line and it was easy to get to the center of town. The area where the hotel is located is quite lovely and lively as you walk to Michener Freit. I would recommend this hotel.
