Andaz Munich Schwabinger Tor

We just had a four night stay at the Andaz and we could not have been happier. The location is excellent with several trams stopping right outside the hotel. The rooms are large and beautiful. The Rooftop pool is great. however, be aware that children are only allowed to swim from 10 to 5 which limited how often we could access the pool. Our stay included breakfast at the lonely broccoli. And it was an excellent spread. The staff were tremendously helpful with our questions and assisted us in making several dinner reservations. There is a complimentary happy hour every day from 5 to 6 PM. Several wines, beer that they brew in-house, pretzels and a delicious cheese spread are offered.

I was warmly welcomed by the front office manager, Andrea. He offered to get help for my bags and took me to the elevator and entered my floor number. He graciously made reservations for the rooftop restaurant and suggested other restaurants at my request. He made a reservation and sent it to my email. Everything was done to make my life easier. I typically don’t write reviews, but our stay at Andaz Munich was so exceptional that I had to make an exception. This was hands down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had—not just within Hyatt, but across any trip we’ve taken. We stayed in the Art Suite, and the room was absolutely incredible: spacious, stylish, and memorable in every way. The complimentary minibar was a fantastic touch and added even more value to an already premium stay. A special thank you to Mohamed from the service team, who truly made this experience unforgettable. His level of care, urgency, and professionalism stood out immediately. I mentioned that I needed to leave in 15 minutes, and breakfast arrived to my room within 10 minutes. That kind of service is rare and deserves recognition. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The complimentary drinks, happy hour at the bar, and overall hospitality made the stay feel effortless and luxurious. The food was also delicious throughout our stay. This was our first time in Germany and our first hotel stay in Europe, traveling with a 5-month-old and a 2-year-old, so comfort and service mattered even more—and Andaz Munich exceeded every expectation. Honestly, a 100/10 experience. You’ve set the bar incredibly high. Our next stop is Andaz London, and we can only hope it lives up to the amazing standard you created here. Amazing, amazing, amazing.

A jewel in Munich, offering clean, spacious rooms, a healthy low-waste breakfast, helpful and polite staff, easy transport access, and an exceptionally comfortable stay.

Overall excellent experience with the stay. Very friendly staffs from check-in to restaurant and bar to spa/swimming pool. Breakfast has a very good spread and can order a la carte menu too (their breakfast is also on Too Good To Go, which is align with Andaz ESG policy despite large buffet). Had chocolate Easter eggs as Welcome gift. Heard from others the chocolate from the minibar was good but was crisps during my stay. Had it on 2nd day which wasnt replenish. No big deal though since not big fan of snacks. Compared to other Andaz I have stayed, not the strongest minibar. Property location is also a little far from touristy spots. Not bad transportation network though
