Andaz Munich Schwabinger Tor continues to impress us on every stay, above all because of its outstanding staff. The level of friendliness, efficiency, and genuine care shown throughout the hotel is remarkable and clearly reflects excellent management. A few people deserve special mention: Leonie and Julia at reception for their warmth and helpfulness, Meryem in the breakfast area who is a real star, and Lino, a young hospitality trainee (with Greek, US, and German roots) who clearly has a very bright future in the hospitality industry. The housekeeping team were also consistently kind and pleasant. The spa and its team are equally impressive. Yvonne and Annette are wonderfully welcoming, and it was great to see Annette, the spa manager, personally walking around, tidying up and helping with day-to-day tasks. That hands-on attitude says a lot. Beyond the outstanding people, everything else is top quality: the design, modern rooms, comfortable beds, cleanliness, spa, and especially the food. The breakfast is exceptional in both quality and variety, easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had anywhere. Compliments to the F&B management. We spend over 30% of the year in five-star hotels around the world, and the Andaz Munich is firmly in our personal top ten. We very much look forward to returning.

The location is a bit further away from everything, but almost everything else is fine. The room is large since it's off city center, the food was great, they provide alcohol sprey in breakfast restaurant which is really good. One thing to mention is that the floor in the room was not cleaned up, it's with the things left from whoever stayed last time, and the floor was dirty and sticky. Also, some of the tables and furnitures were worn-out a bit.

During my nearly three week stay at Andaz Munich Schwabinger Tor, the hotel became much more than a place to stay, it truly felt like home. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. The level of professionalism, consistency and care throughout the hotel made my stay exceptionally comfortable, especially over a longer period of time. This is a hotel that understands hospitality not merely as a service, but as a thoughtful and human experience. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a refined yet personal stay in Munich.

Visiting Munich? Always a good idea. I have visited this beautiful city many times, but rarely have we felt as comfortable as we did at the Andaz in Munich-Schwabing. An all-round wonderful feel-good experience! From the warm welcome to the excellent food in both the rooftop bar and the restaurant on the ground floor – simply great – a fantastic atmosphere and, yes, even at breakfast, no wish remains unfulfilled. Those who like it will find a good spa area. So: off to the Andaz. Enjoy Munich!

My wife and I travel a fair amount. We arrived at the Andaz from Frankfurt a bit tired. The check in process was seamless and the staff very professional. The hotel is stylish and very clean. The location is also nice, a short tram/train from Marienplaz. The coffee shop Bicicleta, was also a high point, not only for the food, but because of Roman, who works there, and apparently, everywhere. By the time I got downstairs to get food and coffee, I was informed the coffees shop was closed. This did not bother Roman who was happy to serve me despite being closed. While this is not totally unheard of, it was the friendliness with which he helped. I ran into him a few times over the next few days. He was alway helping others, in tge coffe shop; the bar; wherever needed. He remembered my name despite how busy he was. These things make for a perfect experience. A beautiful hotel in a great location with fantastic service. Keep up the good work and give Roman a raise. We'll be back.
