We recently stayed at Andaz Tor in Munich for 3 and 2 nights (twice, before and after Malta) and it was an unforgettable experience! On the first stay, we had two king bed rooms, and they were the best, we loved the hotel so much that we decided to upgrade to two suites for our second stay. Every aspect of our stay was outstanding—from the smooth check-in and welcome drinks to the trendy and luxurious room, ultra-comfortable mattress, and cozy bedding. Breakfast is exceptional, I usually don’t have breakfast but I couldn’t resist. Tips: outdoor seating is the best. The team here takes hospitality to the next level! A special shout-out to Nikolas, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His exceptional service was so impressive that if the rating scale went beyond 5 stars, we’d gladly give Andaz a 6! The hotel amenities were fantastic—a well-equipped gym, a stunning indoor pool (stainless steel pool, one of the best we’ve seen) with breathtaking views. There’s also a convenience store and a few great restaurants nearby and car rental co just a 10-minute walk away. We loved our stay so much that we’d return to Munich just to experience this hotel again. Andaz Tor truly redefines luxury and comfort —highly recommended!

The staff here are so friendly and kind! We were greeted every time we entered and the service was good overall. The breakfast here left something to be desired. Coffee was good and enjoyed the waffles but they have banana, which my partner was allergic to so they couldn’t get the waffles. Had to opt for a savory breakfast instead which was okay but nothing spectacular. It’s also paid, so I would recommend going elsewhere for breakfast. Room was huge (standard king) and had a coffee machine, tea, local non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks! Loved the room layout. Laundry was straightforward and staff helped greatly. Location cannot be beat. Out of the main area of Munich but not very far. Super easy to hop on and off of the tram. Lufthansa Express bus to the airport is also only a 10-15 minute walk away.

Although situated a little away from the old town, this hotel was a surprise for us. An amazing roof top bar, with a beautiful view of the city. (Very popular and highly recommended) Great sized rooms and bathroom. Delicious breakfast. A good gym. The welcome drink at the bar (made by Roman) at arrival was extremely friendly and served us many amazing cocktails. All in all an excellent experience. Well done Mr. GM and thank you for an amazing first experience to Munich.

Loved this Andaz, our first time there. Overall staff were excellent, especially at reception and at breakfast. The building projects warmth and the suite we were in was very hospitable. We were there to celebrate my birthday and our first visit to Munich. We highly recommend it, and found it easy to use transit to go everywhere we wanted (though most other guests seemed to arrange car services and the hotel is well-served by them). One gentle warning is for non-German speakers to understand the rules for the "free welcome drink" if you're offered one so that you don't end up inadvertently selecting something that you'll have to pay for instead.

Rooms are large, well designed for maximum comfort, beds are comfortable, food is great at the hotel and the staff members very friendly and courteous, specially Ms. Marissa at the reception area.
