We recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club & Resort to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and what a wonderful experience it was from start to finish. The hotel and grounds are beautiful with a lovely spa and peaceful infinity pool. We took advantage of the half board offer which included drinks, and found this very good value-we particularly liked the Asian restaurant where service and food were both excellent. On arrival, we were surprised with an upgrade to a suite to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a lovely gesture and felt like a real luxury. We were so grateful, and it made our stay even more special. I would also like to recognise three members of staff who truly made our visit memorable. Firstly, Jose Ignacio at Reception. He gave us such a warm welcome and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his professionalism and kindness created a wonderful impression of the hotel. Secondly, Cristina at the Alma Spa. Although there was no availability for treatments on our anniversary, she kindly managed to fit me in for a beautiful massage. It was an exceptional act of customer service and was very much appreciated. Finally, Cati in the breakfast restaurant deserves a special mention. She remembered it was our anniversary and arranged for us to have breakfast on a private balcony. The table was beautifully set with Cava, fresh orange juice, tea and water, creating such a special and memorable start to our day. It was a wonderful surprise and one we will always remember. The service throughout the resort was exceptional, and these three members of staff are a real credit to the Grand Hyatt. They each went above and beyond to make our anniversary truly unforgettable.

We have just returned from an absolutely wonderful week at the hotel. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable room / beds, wonderful food with breakfast an absolute highlight, and excellent service from the staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed watching the World Cup in the bar, lunch at the pool bar, use of the Spa, pre-dinner drinks in the Grand Club, with a walk up to the excellent Dantes and the supermarket when needed at Las Sabinas because of the hotel's location. We also enjoyed interacting with the football teams around the hotel who were always generous with their time for photos/selfies. We can't recommend the hotel highly enough. Thank you for a really wonderful stay,

We are currently staying at this hotel. We have been coming here for over 20 years. It has been our experience over the years that certain parts of the hotel and amenities are restricted to us for one or two days. This time however we are not allowed to dine on the terrace at all for the duration of our holiday. It is the only decent restaurant in the hotel. This is due to it being taken over by football teams. The hotel has set up a temporary ‘grill’ restaurant at the pool bar which is quite frankly , not good enough. We also have restricted access to the gym facilities because of the football teams. The teams have been quite rowdy in the afternoon and families have had to get their children out of the pool for fear of them being hurt during their show boating etc.

Avoid Asia restaurant. We went on a really warm evening and specifically requested an outside table. When we got there we were told because they were so busy and had a very big group they couldn’t accommodate any people sitting outside and only offered us service inside. The terrace remained empty all evening, the restaurant was only partly full. We should’ve and gone to another restaurant but regrettably we stayed. There are several members of staff who have been there for quite a few years. Sadly, they are just getting more and more grumpy. Avoid and go elsewhere. It was on our last visit.

I last visited this hotel pre COVID and things were looking very tired. Since then it’s had major investment and what a huge difference. The rooms and hotel interior/exterior are first class, spacious and some nice touch’s. The gym was very well equipped, didn’t use the spa but it looked good. Ate in the Italian which was good, did feel a bit Disney though! We played all 3 golf courses which were of varying quality, the west course they clearly don’t care about. Some gripes, there’s not enough water in the rooms and about the hotel, we did have some bottles turn up the second night but an odd policy. They also had a private golf tournament on which we weren’t told about, this meant the courses were closed at certain times and the tee bookings went awry, they also closed the main pool for one day, it clearly felt they had given this priority over paying guests. We also had an incident with one of the reception staff, we asked for a late check out on one of our rooms and was told we could extend until 2pm. We returned from golf to find an irate member of staff at our door telling me we should have checked out at midday and he had guests wanting to get into our room. I explained we had spoken to the desk the previous day and told we could extend, he claimed no knowledge of this and demanded I described the person I spoke to, after doing so (yes this happened in a 5 star hotel) he claimed nobody of that description worked in the hotel and pretty much called me a liar. Seriously would we go to those lengths ?? I explained short of organising a line up of staff there wasn’t much I could do, and without an apology he stormed off. A great hotel but some work to do on the staff and communication.
