Reviews for Grand Hyatt Muscat

Great customer service

This is a charming hotel with a newly renovated pool area. The staff were tirelessly helpful. We were particularly impressed in the Grand Lounge for Hyatt Global members, where we were particularly well looked after by Parth.

The worst hotel in Oman

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

There are many reasons why this hotel is considered the worst in Oman. For example: • The hotel is very old and has never been renovated. • The hotel’s management policies are poor. • The staff are rude. • The staff show racist behavior. • The hotel does not comply with the country’s laws. As an Omani citizen, I do not recommend anyone to even consider booking at this terrible hotel. We have many better options such as The Chedi, W Hotel, Kempinski, and many others that truly deserve your money. Final word: This hotel does not represent my country, the Sultanate of Oman, nor Oman Vision 2040.

Great place for a relaxing break

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We had a 2 day stop over in Muscat when travelling home to Australia from Europe. The Hyatt was a great relaxed place to stay with large comfortable rooms and a newly renovated pool area that was great. Previous reviews spoke about noise and disruption from the renovation however only a few small things are left to complete. We enjoyed our stay here.

Wonderful stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

This is a grand old dame in Muscat that is getting a new lease on life - and it is great to see where it is going. The new pool and facilities are great. Whilst the rooms are still old world, the hotel is relaxed, spacious and quite beautiful inside. Yes things are still being renovated and need some love outside, but special thanks go to the wonderful staff, especially in the restaurants and Grand Club. That includes the chefs who are passionate about what they do.
