Great location, but in urgent need of renovation
Title: Great location, but in urgent need of renovation The Grand Hyatt Muscat has clearly seen better days. You can tell that it was once one of the city’s grand hotels, but today the entire property feels dated and stuck in the 1980s. There is carpet almost everywhere, the interiors feel old and no longer carefully maintained, and the bathrooms are in serious need of refurbishment. The lighting in the room was also very poor. There was mainly indirect lighting, which made the room feel rather dark, especially in the evening. The hotel’s strongest point is its excellent location. However, considering the condition of the property, I do not feel that the price offers good value for money. For a similar rate, Muscat has several much more modern and comfortable hotels. A complete renovation could bring this hotel back to its former glory, but in its current condition, it is not somewhere I would choose to stay again.

Very clean. Staff went above and beyond. Helpful professional. Room was spacious had balcony bonus. Beach was beautiful real exposure to Omani culture

Worth the wait of vacation
The hotel itself and their staffs are very accommodating and we were welcomed warmly. Our 2N3D stay was phenomenal and we had so much fun. Miss Aya, Sir JR, Miss Zuwaina, and other bell boy staffs and housekeeping accommodates our needs accordingly. Value for Money during our stay was very affordable and the amenities of the hotel were great and we enjoyed every corners of it. Till next time of staycation. God bless

Relax and Enjoy
Great Hotel , very quite and relaxing ,great Italian Restaurant and Night Club/Sports Bar also brilliant. Staff very friendly and helpful easy to get a taxi
