Mykonos Princess

We returned to the Mykonos Princess after previously staying in 2017, and from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel exceptionally welcome. The Mykonos Princess is a lovely, bright-white boutique hotel with everything we had been looking for: an attractive pool and pool bar, an all-day menu, room service and a proper restaurant offering an à la carte menu and wine list. Both rooms we experienced were bright, comfortable and furnished to a very good standard. As returning guests, we found a bottle of Prosecco, and a lovely welcome note waiting in our first room, which was a thoughtful and greatly appreciated touch. When Nicholas told the hotel manager, Irene, that we had returned, she immediately came to greet us personally and warmly offered us a room upgrade. We were made to feel like royalty. Whenever Irene saw us during our stay, she took the time to say hello and ask how we were. This was genuine customer service rather than something merely performed as part of the job. Irene is full of energy, always welcoming and never without a smile. By our second day, we were already building lovely relationships with the staff, particularly Jacklyn and Nicholas on reception. The other member of the reception team, including the charming young lady with long dark hair whom we unfortunately did not get the opportunity to know as well, was equally welcoming. The pool-bar team, including the Balinese members of staff, also looked after us extremely well. The long Mykonos season can understandably be demanding, but the staff were generally excellent. The restaurant provided the proper dining experience we wanted, with table service, an à la carte menu and a wine list. The food was good, attractively presented and enjoyable, although we felt that both the menu and the cooking had lost a little of what made them particularly special during our visit in 2017. The choices were now also quite different. Breakfast was of very good quality, and the previously extensive range of options had been somewhat reduced. This was a little disappointing, but there was nonetheless still plenty of choice. There are a few points that prospective guests may find useful. The hotel is built across several levels and has a considerable number of steps. Anyone with walking or mobility difficulties should bear this in mind and bring walking sticks if they use them. The stairs became challenging for me, and sadly, because of my age and mobility, they are the principal reason we sadly, more than likely would be unable to return. One evening, a guest started to smoke at the restaurant table while eating. As a non-smoker, I found this so unpleasant that I left the restaurant. I raised the matter with the restaurant supervisor but was disappointed that the smoking was defended rather than stopped. Thankfully, the disagreement was put behind us by the following day and did not affect the remainder of our stay. Nevertheless, I hope the hotel will reconsider allowing smoking at dining tables, for the comfort of guests trying to enjoy their food. Guests should also be aware that the hotel shuttle costs a minimum of €30 for each journey, which can add up if used regularly. We stayed from 9 to 16 September and, despite these few minor observations, had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We recognise that hotels and their services have inevitably changed since 2017, particularly following the pandemic, and hope that some of the touches we remembered may return in the future. The warmth and personal attention we received, especially from Irene and the reception team, made our stay feel genuinely special. Although our mobility circumstances mean that we are unlikely to return, we would absolutely recommend the Mykonos Princess to anyone looking for a beautiful, intimate boutique hotel with excellent personal & customer service. Located within walking distance of some ferries and a short car ride from the heart of Mykonos, Mykonos princess 👸 was the ideal location for me. Easy to be in the midst of everything when choosing but still able to relax in a calmer location with amazing views. The room was spacious, extraordinary clean and a beautiful balcony to enjoy a coffee or lovely glass of wine. Every single person I came into contact with from the front desk, personalized greeting included, the bartender, the room staff, restaurant and kitchen workers went above and beyond in every aspect. They felt like family by the time I left. And don't forget the spa! I went several times. If you are in need if transport while your there, the front desk will ensure you get the best. I utilized Mykonos Genie, driver Leo...Im sure the staff will find him for you.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! Our flight home was cancelled and we’ve been placed in alternative luxury hotel until our rebooked flight, but it doesn’t compare in the slightest to Mykonos Princess Hotel. From the moment you step through the doors to reception, you’re met with kind, considerate people who can’t do enough to help you. Jacklyn and Surya were professional but personable and explained everything thoroughly. We enjoyed a welcome drink before checking into our room, which was a Junior Suite Sea View. The room was spacious for a boutique hotel and was immaculately clean. The immaculate levels of cleanliness continued for our entire stay. We had bed and breakfast, which consisted of an al a carte menu with food made to order. Nothing was too much to ask and food was fresh, nicely presented, and promptly arrived at the table. The pool area is small, but plenty big enough for this sized hotel. There was never any issue with finding a sun bed. Most days, there were free sun beds all day. Sun beds were comfortable! The shower facilities that we used before we left were also immaculately clean and spacious. Location-wise, we thought it was a good spot to be in. There is a bus stop a 5-10 minute walk away which takes you to the New Port and Old Port, where you can walk into Mykonos Town. It’s a quiet area with a lovely beach and a couple of restaurants to choose from. The main difference at this hotel to any other I’ve stayed at is the people. They truly make your stay unlike anywhere else. The feeling you have at Mykonos Princess is one full of soul, kindness and relaxation. I would definitely return. Everything about this hotel was fantastic!! The hospitality was absolutely amazing, wonderful facilities and breathtaking views. The location is also a bonus and the staff are very friendly, kind and caring!! The Princess hotel made me really feel royal and I will definitely be coming back to Mykonos and staying here!!

This hotel is fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the entire place was always clean and very relaxing. Its location is great, with several restaurants, a beach and a shop just a short 5-minute walk away. Plus, it's easy to catch a bus to Mykonos Town. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, especially compared to the rest of the island. The rooms are wonderful, featuring a super comfortable bed and a great shower. I would absolutely visit again!
