"Even a rainy day at the Marina Inn beats a sunny day anywhere else. Sometimes the best way to enjoy the Grande Dunes is with a quiet glass of wine while the clouds roll in over the water."

We absolutely loved our stay at Marina Inn ☺️!!! This was our mini honeymoon and the atmosphere was perfect! The room was clean, the amenities were spot on and we had a beautiful view the entire weekend. The staff was so helpful and kind. Laura did her absolute best to ensure our stay was everything we needed it to be! We will be back very soon ❤️

We are currently staying at the resort and had a few questions that we needed help with. One regarding Valentines Dinner package and also about a future resort stay. When calling in house reservations I was lucky to get representative Trish both times. She was so knowledgeable about everything. She went out of her way to deliver excellent customer service to us. When you have staff like Trish that was so nice it makes us want to keep coming back to this resort. Thank you Trish!

My family and have been guests of Marina inn for over 10 years. The location, service, and amenities were excellent in years past. We use all amenities from Waterscapes, valet, pools, bars, dinner in holidays in the ballroom, shuttle to the beach. However, over the last few years, we have noticed a decline in service, cleanliness and upkeep of the resort. My family's last stay, we checked in on Thanksgiving Day, only to be given a room that was in dire need of attention. The carpet had holes and terrible stains. The 2 Bedroom unit was dusty and the furniture was worn and dingy. We didn't feel comfortable AT ALL and felt offended to be assigned to have paid the price we did and assigned this unit. This unit should NOT have been in commission, given it's condition. Called the front desk, the sent bellman, to take us to another unit which was in much better condition. Approximately an hour later, LOSS PREVENTION comes to the unit to remove us, stating we are not supposed to be in the room and needed to pack up and go back to the original room. He sated the room belongs to another guest that has not checked in yet. (insert confused face) To make a long story shorter, after several hours, being offered rooms that would not fit the number of people in my family, we landed in a room that was not exactly what we paid for. This was not how I wanted to spend my Thanksgiving holiday. I spent most of the day on the phone with the front desk, talking to LOSS PREVENTION and being spoken to like we stole something, and moving from room to waiting. They offered my family complimentary breakfast during our stay and a half baked apology. I spoke to Matt Grigg, the Operations Manger, and he apologized profusely and assured us if we came back to visit again, he would personally handle my reservation and we would receive suitable accommodations at a special rate. He said he valued our loyalty to the brand and wanted to make things right. A couple weeks ago, I called him to make that reservation and he had someone else to contact me and let's just say, things did not get handled to my satisfaction. They made me feel uncomfortable and like I was trying to get something for nothing. My family and I agreed, it's time for us to move on from Marina Inn Grand Dunes and find a resort that can offer the level of service and accommodations we like to have when we travel. I have traveled extensively, domestic and internationally and I enjoy being comfortable and feeling like my business is important and I am a valued customer after 10 years, staying several times per year. I've referred more people than I can count to Marina Inn, but no longer!

This Resort/Inn is such a unique experience. We have vacationed/ lived in the area for decades. We have stayed at many hotels along the way but this Resort is very impressive. We stayed here both Christmas Eve and then returned the night following Christmas to spend another night doing what our kids say “living our best lives”. Both stays we had the pleasure of interacting with Scott, who by the way is phenomenal at his job. His heart is in the right place. The view is unbeatable. So many amazing options for dinner within walking distance. Activities along the waterway, beach shuttle, a full bar, coffee bar, and all types of surprises along the way. (we learned all this info from LP) We truly love showing everyone we know this Resort. May have even started a family tradition of staying there every year.
