Marina Inn at Grande Dunes

Marina Inn is our favorite place to stay when we visit Myrtle Beach. The staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. During this trip, Laura and Phill were exceptionally helpful. They made us feel very welcome. The rooms are always very clean. Thank you Marina Inn Staff for making our visit pleasant.

I have been coming to this hotel for about 3 years. I find it appealing and high end. The staff and services are superior to chain hotels and as a solo traveler I feel safe. However, over the years I have noticed the clientele has gotten worse. Rude people slamming doors, talking on phones in hallways late at night. My last visit the people above me were jumping around so hard that I thought my ceiling fan was going to fall. PLEASE, raise your rates. I'll pay double to not have to deal with those that don't deserve what Marina Inn has to offer. If I wanted Econo Lodge behaviors, that's where I'd stay.

First stayed here in Jan upon recommendation from a work associate. Had a "club king suite" w/kitchen and absolutely loved it!! Wanted to book the same suite this time, but "Trish" said it was unavailable - and offered a smaller suite (BALT1K) w/"kitchenette". Overall, the recent stay was "good".........but Marina Inn missed the mark on a few items: one of the lamps was missing a bulb - which I promptly reported shortly after check-in.......but was never resolved. I also did not have housekeeping service either of the two days. Fortunately, when I requested clean towels, my request was promptly met. One of the amenities I like about suites is the separate sitting area. However, there was only one chaise lounge - so one of us had to sit on the bed....which seems to negate the amenity of a "suite".....!! Whereas I do plan to return at some point - all in all, I feel I either got lucky on my "first" visit.......or fell through the cracks on the second.

Great experience as always staying here! Been there every year for the past several years with my husband. This time took my mom to celebrate her birthday. It's close to everything but far enough off the beaten path it feels secluded and quiet. Rooms are spacious and designed well. Hotel staff is friendly and accomodating. Look for Scott at check-in and check-out - he's professional, knowledgeable, and always smiling. Tons of amenities - from the convenient cafe where you can get drinks in the evening and Starbucks in the morning to the indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs where you can watch the boats in the marina and the stars above. You can't go wrong with this place. We always have such a great time staying here and it's def become our go-to whenever we go to MB.

Instead of cleaning the room, you could get a voucher, loved this initiative! And enjoyed the Starbucks Coffee instead!
