Marina Inn at Grande Dunes

I hate to do this, but I must be honest. We went June 21 through June 26. This place has deteriorated in quality since we first started going often about 10 years ago. Lots of things are original and run down. The cleanliness of the common areas was lacking. When we booked in December 2025, we asked for a room overlooking the pool and waterway and it was not honored. The hot tub in the indoor pool wasn't even hot. I could go on. We probably will not return ever.

We had to change hotels after only a day into our vacation and ended up at Marina Inn. Laura at the front desk was knowledgeable, helpful, and incredibly pleasant, making the transition easy. Our stay was quiet, room was spacious, comfortable, and featured a fully stocked kitchen, which was very convenient. We also enjoyed the pleasant view from our balcony. While this is an older property, it is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Here for a conference. All smooth without a hitch. The total highlight of the trip though was Chris at the pool bar. Trying to entertain a group by the pool can be a challenge. And Chris is a pro. Totally unfazed by the numbers of people and multiple drink orders. Great energy and attitude. Awesome guy.

Laura and registration was amazing! I needed to add an additional Knight to my stay. The first people I talked with were “unable to do that however, upon speaking with Laura she absolutely made that happen and we were able to stay another night without switching rooms!

Awesome experience. Very clean, 2 nice pools and 3 jacuzzi’s were very accommodating. Best of all were the staff, very professional and accommodating hotel team. Appreciate the effort of Laura, Jen and Chris as well as all the others.
