Shout out to Chris at the front desk for going above and beyond making sure we had a great stay. My tuxedo button fell off as I am walking out the door for a wedding and Chris sprang into action to save the day. Great hotel and excellent room with even better customer service.

Upon arriving on Sunday, June 7, 2026, we immediately discovered several maintenance and cleanliness issues throughout the condo. I promptly contacted the management office, sent numerous photographs and videos documenting the concerns, and spoke with Sarah. She advised that no one was available that day but assured me that we would be placed on the schedule for Monday, June 8, and that someone would address the issues. By noon on Monday, no one had contacted us, so I called the office for an update. Since it was my birthday, I did not want to spend the day waiting for maintenance personnel. I spoke with Jackie, who reviewed the photographs I had previously submitted but stated she could not access the videos, so I resent them. My primary concerns were a guest bathroom sink with no hot water and a toilet that had been running continuously since our arrival. The issues we encountered included: • A continuously running toilet in the guest bathroom, which could potentially have caused water damage to the unit below. • No hot water in the guest bathroom sink. • Rust-stained tubs in both the guest and primary bathrooms. • A towel holder detached from the wall and sitting on the guest bathroom vanity. • A missing sink stopper in the guest bathroom. • A malfunctioning light fixture in the primary bedroom that flickered constantly like a strobe light. • Wallpaper peeling away from the walls in both bathrooms. • Severely deteriorated and unraveling rattan patio furniture that clearly needed replacement. • Large brown stains covering the living room curtains, which were highly visible and should have been identified by either housekeeping or property inspectors. On June 10, after three days with no meaningful resolution, I spoke with Steven ( who I was told was in a managerial position). During our conversation, he asked if we were checking out the following day. When I confirmed that we were, it became clear that management was fully aware of the issues. Steven advised that he would provide an update by the end of business on June 11, our scheduled checkout date. I expressed my frustration that these matters had not been addressed while we were actually staying in the property. We had been there since Sunday, and by Wednesday there had still been no satisfactory resolution. I also advised him that, given the number and severity of the issues in what was advertised as a luxury rental, we expected some form of compensation or partial refund. Today is June 13, and despite Steven's commitment to follow up, I have not received any communication from him or anyone else at Luxury Beach Rentals. The communication ( Or lack thereof) was absolutely terrible. I was unable to upload my videos on this site. Travelers should be aware that this property is advertised across multiple booking platforms as a luxury rental. Based on our experience, the condition of the unit did not meet those expectations. I have photographs and videos documenting these issues and will share as many as possible to help future guests make an informed decision.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes, and once again, it exceeded every expectation. We have visited this beautiful Four Diamond resort many times with our family over the years, and it continues to be our favorite place to stay in Myrtle Beach. What makes Marina Inn truly special is the exceptional customer service. During this trip, we were actually staying at another resort, but it simply did not compare to the quality and experience we have come to expect from Marina Inn. We decided to call Marina Inn, explain our situation, and see if they could accommodate us on short notice. From the moment we called, Trish in Reservations went above and beyond to help us. She was professional, caring, and incredibly efficient in finding a solution for us. After arriving, Laura at check-in provided the same outstanding level of hospitality. Both ladies made us feel valued and welcomed, and their commitment to customer service was truly first-class. Everything about our stay was exceptional—the room was spotless and comfortable, the food was excellent, the pool and amenities were top-notch, and the entire property was beautifully maintained. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and professional. In a world where great customer service can be hard to find, Marina Inn at Grande Dunes continues to set the standard. The resort consistently delivers luxury, comfort, and hospitality at the highest level. A special thank you again to Trish and Laura for turning what could have been a disappointing vacation into an unforgettable experience. Because of team members like them, we will continue returning to Marina Inn for years to come. Highly recommended for couples, families, and anyone looking for a truly first-class resort experience in Myrtle Beach!

We had been staying at the Marina Inn for about 2 weeks having a wonderful stay as always. We were scheduled to depart Thursday (6/11) on a late flight thru DC and we were notified in the morning that our flight was cancelled due to severe weather expected in the DC area in the afternoon. The airline could not get us on another flight home until Saturday. We called down to reservations and spoke with Vicky and with her help, she was able to keep us in the room we were currently in until our new departure late on Saturday. Vicky, we can't say Thank you enough for going out of your way to move reservations and help us with our unplanned extended stay. You are Great !!, Thank you !!, Thank you !!, Thank you !!

Excellent atmosphere and we love the Mediterranean feel of the resort. Staff professional, and we always feel the southern hospitality. Laura at the desk was amazing, and Zimri who cleaned our room efficient, did a great job and noticed when we left the room to clean.
