Funky Design and Good Location just outside the CVD.
Funky designed hotel. Cool room but somewhat small. Nice outdoor patio. Most staff were pleasant to deal with. Good location in a nice and safe area. Easy 3 minute walk to good coffee and a supermarket and a 15 minute walk to the very cool Village Market Shopping Centre. The pool and outdoor bar area were nice but the pool windows and artistic mirrors all around the pool were very dirty. With a simple clean it would make this relaxing area a great place to hang out longer. Overall would recommend staying at Gem Forest Hotel.

Amazing stay & dining experience
I had a wonderful stay at Gem Forest Hotel. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, making my stay truly enjoyable. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist, providing excellent service throughout my visit. A special mention goes to Troy Restaurant & Rooftop Bar on the 8th floor. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, while the drinks were expertly prepared. The atmosphere, views, and overall ambiance made for a fantastic dining experience. The service at the restaurant and bar was exceptional, with attentive staff who ensured everything was perfect. I highly recommend Gem Forest Hotel and Troy Restaurant & Rooftop Bar to anyone looking for great hospitality, excellent food, and a memorable experience. I look forward to visiting again!

Lovely weekend getaway
The hotel is conveniently located in Nairobi's leafy suburbs, not too far from the city centre. It offers both comfort and accessibility. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the quality of sleep is wonderful. The food is also amazing in all the hotel's restaurants. I would highly recommend it and would definitely go back.
