LAICO Regency Hotel

One of the worst experience of my life. No air conditioning in room 714 even after several complaints and after 24 hours Mechanic says the air conditioning unit the hotel has insufficient to cater to the needs. The Managers are not accessible even after 24 hours. No hot water in the room, causing me to neither sleep nor take a good shower The room stinks, carpets have stains all over, dimly lit rooms Basically it’s a property falling apart, non responsive management , poor service standards . Avoid this at all cost.

After a certain airline cancelled my flight, i was booked into this hotel.The only thing I enjoyed here was the heated pool and the gym. The rooms looked really old and had a dumpy smell. The hot shower wasn't working at some point and the toilet was broken. Some of the staff members looked demotivated and seemed not to enjoy being at our service.The hotel requires a complete make over, especially on the plumbing works. I would not really recommend.

I was checked in at Laico Regency on 16/08/2019 by Kenya Airways after the flight which i had booked from Nairobi to Dubai(KQ304) was over booked.The next available flight was the following day at 1410hrs so we had to spend the night here and the experience was really superb.We were picked from the Hotel at 1000hrs on the 17/08/2019 and after driving for a few miles i realized that i had forgotten my wallet in the Hotel room.I panicked and request the shuttle driver to take me back to the Hotel but i was not sure that i will find my wallet.Reported at the reception and told them why i had came back,the lady at the reception called the Supervisor on duty and together with their security we went to the room where i had spend the night and to my surprise my wallet was still where i placed it with everything intact as it was.I was very happy because the Hotel has faithful and trusted staff who takes care of their Guests valuable and forgotten items.This is a place where you can trust that your belongings are safe at any time,keep it up.

A comfortable venue located at a central point in the city. Convenient to walk about and view the city and do a bit of window shopping. Good service at the hotel. The breakfast spread is above but not ellaborate. The rooms are comfortable.. however check do check if all amenities are working in the room. The complimentary water provided needs to be more and the electric kettle needs to have additional water for making the beverage in the room.

I went as a solo traveler and found this place at the city center The Hotel has big and clean rooms, Wife every Conner of the hotel and staffs are very nice In the bar you can found every drinks you want to drink
