I had very high expectations of staying at Stanley having sampled pan Afric and woodlands but I was grossly disappointed. Apart from the restaurant service that was excellent, the room attendants were cold, the rooms quite unclean and stuffy ( actually had an unpleasant smell) and the bathtub could not drain water effectively. I left a dissatisfied customer… Sarah.

The Sarova Stanley is a wonderful hotel and highly recommended for travel for either work or business. The rooms are well kept and comfortable, the food is very good, the amenities are great - but the best part of the hotel is the staff. Everyone is helpful, friendly, and accommodating - Benson, Maxwell, and Rachel were extremely wonderful.

The staff at the hotel were absolutely wonderful—so welcoming and kind throughout our stay. A special thank you to Benson and Maxwell, who truly went above and beyond. We absolutely adored them and are so grateful for their exceptional service!

What can I say this hotel is superb from walking in the door to greeting our lovely concierge STEVE! Big shout at you were great thanks so much to us. Service above and beyond. You helped us on many occasions even finding us our tour guide operator for our safari trip. Big shout out to Victoria In The main restaurant Can’t believe how friendly and cheerful you are. An absolute credit to the hotel. You will go far. Thanks for making us so welcome. The food amazing too in the restaurant also in the Thai. Thanks for the staff In The Thai also v friendly and kind. Also middle aged lady in steam room v nice too not sure name! All the staff in the hotel from our cleaner Roz thanks you were great to the operations manager who dealt with a situation where the only staff that completely let the hotel down were Christine you were so rude and unhelpful and did not want to help at all, In The gym when the equipment kept failing. You were unhappy because you were working out and had to come off the machine. I actually thought you along with 3 others who were using the equipment were guests and not staff. I felt pretty bad asking you so the 2nd time went to reception. They passed me back to you which was uncomfortable considering you were unhelpful the 1st time! I was told you had sorted machines but not the case! Also you were v rude and told me that if I needed a towel to get after gym! I said my partner needed one now! Everything was too much trouble. Also philippe you were v rude too. Feel a little reluctant to come back to hotel as I won’t feel comfortable using gym/towel area! Luckily was sorted by operations manager and that is why I give it a 5 *
