Sarova Stanley remains a well-known landmark in the center of Nairobi with the Thorn Tree Café and the famous message tree. This city center hotel has a convenient position amongst the busy shopping area of Nairobi. Most of the rooms at the Sarova overlook Nairobi, and all of them are elegantly decorated in classic style. Disappointed with my stay — the room had a strong mold/food odor, and some staff treated people of colour with prejudice
I recently stayed at Sarova Stanley Nairobi and, unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The room had a persistent, unpleasant smell a mix of mold and food that made the stay uncomfortable. Even more concerning was the conduct of some staff members, who showed a lack of respect toward people of colour and treated guests in a prejudiced manner. This is unacceptable in any hospitality environment, especially from a property of this standing. Sadly, based on this experience, I will not be returning.

Wanted to relax away from work and succeeded!
Great hotel... very friendly and efficient staff. Chefs were all excellent - especially for my 3 egg omelettes @thorntree restaurant! Great fun with the barstaff of The Exchange Bar. Overall.... a perfect break for me and I'll be back as soon as l get the chance. HughB

Extremely friendly staff
I stayed at this hotel, before going out to Maasai Mara and also when I came back to fly home. The staff were absolutely incredible! They couldn't have been more helpful, they even allowed me into the room at 9am as I had flown in early in the morning. I would highly recommend you staying here. Many thanks to Paul, Albert and Jaqaline for your help and assistance whilst there. I look forward to returning!

Dinning at Thai Chi
Had a wonderful dining experience at Thai Chi Restaurant, Sarova. The food was absolutely delicious we had the Goong Prik Thai Dam, and it was bursting with rich, bold flavors. Truly a standout dish! Service was exceptional, with Alex taking great care of us throughout. Attentive, warm, and professional. The ambience was equally impressive. Elegant, calm, and beautifully styled, it made for a perfect setting to enjoy a relaxing meal. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine in a serene and classy environment. Will definitely be back!
