We had a great time. One of a very few Lodges that are right on the water. Staff was exceptional. We had a waiter named Gideon who was fantastic. Hospitality and service to the max. That made all the difference for us.

Situated on the banks of lake Naivasha with scenic views and surroundings. Close to Crescent Island. Staff are very courteous and friendly. Got an opportunity to get close to a number of Hippo's visiting the property at night. Buildings require maintenance and upgrade. The menu need a revival too as the choice and quality is limited, especially if you are not into Indian fare.

Location: - The location is very good. In a serene part of town. Although the proximity to the Hellgate national park was an issue considering the distance from this lodge - Situated lakeside a few minutes boat ride to Crescent Island. Atmosphere: - The ambience is serene with wild animals around. water bucks, giraffes and zebras move effortlessly around the accommodation. - During the evening, the hippopotamus come out of the water to feed on the property lawn. This means that going out at night require the support of one of the guards at the accommodation. - Sunset at the lakeside and the bonfire at night make this an amazing place to stay. Room: - Was very nice, comfy and spacious. Situated with a good lakeside view as we requested before arrival. - Amenities are good. water pressure, toiletries and clean towels. - Bed was very comfy and large. Restaurant: - We booked full board in this accommodation and the buffet was amazing. Large choice of food with a very strong South Asian influence (curry). - Waiters were very welcoming and supportive. - Water is available in the room but need to be procured even though we paid full board. Although this is available at the restaurant during breakfast. - The music was good especially sitting around the terrace of the restaurant for dinner. Reception: - Supportive and friendly staff. They cracked the code for hospitality. - Although we arrived late without informing due to our late stopover at the Longoknot mountain. They were very considerate to inform the restaurant to ensure we have a late lunch. - All our requests were responded to on time. - Supported us with the booking of the boat to the crescent island tour.

The food was very delicious. There was a variety of local and different cuisines. Spoilt for choice. Staff were very helpful and their service was great. Restaurant staff member Dorcas was outstanding and very helpful and attended to our needs at all times. Accommodation was standard - not impressive but okay for a short stay. Rooms are well used and it shows. There seems to be newer / refurbished wings towards the ends of the property, but they are furthest from lobby. The lake view was superb.

Great location, definitely worth visiting. An expanding lake, stunning views. Watching hyppos walking by at night drinking cocktail at your porch (under careful supervision of nice security personnel). A special thank to Gideon, who extended breakfast time, as we were late.
