The atmosphere here is unmatched. There is nothing quite like sitting by the fireplace in the evening with a drink after a day of exploring. The dining experience was fantastic—fresh, local ingredients and a great variety. Whether you are golfing with a view of the mountain or just enjoying the tranquility of the forest, the peace and quiet here are rejuvenating. Nelly was so jovial and wonderful, funny thing she remembers our names which felt really nice. At reception Mr. Geoffrey was exceptional the way he welcomed us made us feel like royals. A must-visit in Kenya and definitely coming back with more friends.

An absolute gem steeped in history. From the moment you arrive, the colonial-style architecture and the perfectly manicured lawns—complete with roaming peacocks—make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The rooms are elegant, the service is world-class, Geoffrey gave us a good brief full of laughter and knowledge of the hotel. Waking up to a clear view of Mount Kenya’s peaks is an experience that stays with you. It’s the perfect blend of old-world luxury and natural beauty.

We had the best time at the wedding because of the amazing staff and service. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone did their best to ensure we all had a wonderful time. A special shout out to Elizabeth and Michael who always had the hugest smiles and greetings. The reception staff were very welcoming amd helpful too. Our stay at the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club was once again exceptional. The level of service is truly outstanding, and the staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From the moment you arrive, you feel well taken care of, and their hospitality makes the entire experience even more special. The food is excellent, with a wonderful variety and beautifully prepared dishes. Every meal is something to look forward to. The stunning surroundings and peaceful atmosphere add to the charm of the property, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We have visited Fairmont many times over the years, and what stands out is their consistency. They never fail to impress us, and each visit feels just as memorable as the last. It remains one of our favourite places to return to, and we always leave looking forward to the next stay.
