Sweetwaters Tented Camp, Nanyuki
Nanyuki, Kenya
Overall an excellent stay. This is my second time to this resort, and the game sightings at the resort make the stay worthwhile. However, the check-in experience left a bad taste.... we were three of us and felt that the standard tents offered were too congested for three. So we requested for upgrade to the Morani wing with whatever extra charges. However, Carol at the reception denied saying there aren't any available. It was very clear that the occupancy was very thin and it was impossible that there weren't any tents in Morani wing available. We had to call our booking agent and then the agent got our rooms changed to Morani wing. On moving into the new tent, it was clear that most of those were not occupied. So, really surprised that Carol denied to change our rooms even when we were willing to pay extra for it.

Amazing start to Kenya trip at Ol Pajeta Conservatory staying at Serena Sweetwater Camp... It was a serene experience right in the middle of the conservatory finding yourself surrounded by Zebras, Antilope, Rhinos and even Hynas... Don't be scared they have electric fence so the animals don't come very close however you will see them right in front of your room.. The experience was something unique and beyond words.. The resort has a lake where animals comes 24/7 for water They had great staff and great food and will make food off the menu on request.. The rooms were amazing and they even kept hot water bags under the blanket at night.. We didn't thought it will be this cold but the resort was well equipped...Lights are kept low at night to avoid animals coming close but the whole atmosphere make you feel staying inside the real jungle.. This is a must visit addition to your Kenya Trip.. We stayed for 2 Night and every minute was worth spending If you want to enjoy night Safari this is the place which offfers that experience as Masai Mara you can't do night Safari as it's not allowed.. Enjoy the Rhino park inside the conservatory

I stayed here for two nights and did gamedrives at Olpaheta conservnacy. The mt kenya and Abardares view is breathtaking. The place has a savanah vibe. Its close to olpajeta Conservancy so one can do gamedrives there. I recommend it to both fily and business travels

I seriously enjoyed how therapeutic Sweetwaters was. The rooms were very neat, comfortable and cozy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was awesome with a lot of food choices. The swimming pool was very clean and comes with a best view. Please do not miss the sunset

Very well-run lodge; however, it was a bit too large for our tastes. We prefer smaller, more intimate accommodations, with individual meal service rather than the large buffet. Their gift shop is well-stocked, and the hot water bottles for our feet at night were much appreciated. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. James, our room steward, and Anne, from the dining room, took excellent care of us. The breakfast boxes they prepared for us were very good!
