We get up to Napa on many of our trips to teh Bay Area, and have been returning to the Andaz in Downtown Napa for a few years now. It is a well run hotel with a fantastic staff. We are always welcomed with some excellent local wine. Natalie at the front desk is also very helpful with information about local restaurants and other businesses. Breakfast is excellent at no charge for globalists, and I highly reccomend it. The breakfast staff if freindly and efficient no matter who you get, although we have particularly enjoyed seeing Miguel on our last few visits.

I went for my anniversary, we were given a surprise upgrade and chocolate strawberries to congratulate us! The staff were truly wonderful and helpful with all questions.

The location in downtown Napa was great ! You could basically walk everywhere. Restaurants , shopping and wine tastings were within walking distance.

Not as good as our experience from a few years ago. Bathroom was aged. Pillows were flat and seemed old. Thin walls. Dark lighting. On the positive it’s in a nice location walking distance to restaurants. Good breakfast with a cheerful waitress in the hotel. Hotel has a lot of good potential

The hotel is located in a charming and safe area that is pleasant to walk around. The lobby has a grand, historic feel that gives the property a sense of character. The front desk staff were polite and friendly during check-in, although the information about when the room would be ready and its location was somewhat unclear. Our room faced the patio, which overlooked a parking garage. There was also continuous music playing until around 9 p.m., which may be a consideration for guests who prefer a quieter environment, especially given the hotel’s nightly rates of $500–$600. The room was clean, but there was noticeable wear and tear, and the television and furniture felt dated. The destination fee includes parking, although it is limited to the second and third floors of the garage. The garage is conveniently located just a few minutes from the hotel entrance. Overall, the location is excellent, and the property has a charming atmosphere. However, based on the condition and amenities of the room, I felt the accommodations did not fully justify the luxury-level price.
