Staff dont care, beds are sloppy
Very bad stay. They dont know how to make the bed. It was very sloppy. When i asked to change the room i was surprised because even that bed was sloppy!! Best Western does a better job! The staff didnt care and were not accommodating. they were too busy catering to people who booked events at the hotel and often forgot about my requests. Asking for towels took about 2 hours from the front desk.

Major Disappointment
This hotel is a huge disappointment and I would avoid booking here, especially for a concert or special event. If you do, get everything in writing. Apparently, what they promise when you book and what you actually get are two very different things. We booked a room because we were specifically told we would have a view of the concert stage. That was the entire point. We arrived, looked out the window, and there was no view of the stage at all. We spoke with the manager on duty, thinking she would at least try to help. She did absolutely nothing. No room change, no real explanation, no solution. She didn’t seem to care and wasn’t particularly concerned that we had booked and paid for a room based on something the hotel told us that simply wasn’t true. I’m shocked by how badly the Meritage handled this. For what they charge, this is completely unacceptable. What a waste of money!

Chillin at the Meritage Resort and Spa
This was our first time staying at the Meritage Resort and Spa. My wife and I attended a Blue Note concert here this past summer and were very impressed with the venue and its atmosphere. We decided to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary here August 29 through September 1st. Our room was clean and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially, William, the registration clerk and Adelina, the housekeeping assistant.

I love the Fivetown grocery with the cafe and sandwiches. SO GOOD. Saul and Rosalinda are always providing great service and excellent mochas
