Wonderful experience from start to finish! Roman M. on the valet team was exceptional! Upon arrival, he greeted us and took the time to personally show us around the hotel, point out all the amenities and give us great recommendations for the area. We had a wonderful time at the family pool at The Meritage Resort and Spa. It was a great spot to relax with the kids, enjoy the Napa weather, and spend a few easy hours together as a family. The highlight of our visit was Andres, our server. He was warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely made the experience better. He checked in at the right times, made sure we had everything we needed, and brought a level of hospitality that stood out. Great service makes a big difference, especially when you’re with family and friends, and Andres delivered exactly that. We really appreciated his care and would happily come back.

We had an exceptional experience at Meritage Resort thanks to Skyler. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure our family was taken care of. Skyler helped upgrade our room and worked to rearrange accommodations so our entire family could stay close together, which made a huge difference for our trip. He was incredibly understanding, patient, and genuinely cared about making our stay as comfortable as possible. What impressed us even more was watching him manage a very long check-in line with professionalism, efficiency, and a positive attitude. Guests around us were visibly appreciative of his help, and it was clear he was making everyone’s experience better. The level of service didn’t stop there. Skyler personally called to check in with us after our arrival to make sure all of our needs had been met and that everything was going smoothly. In all my years of travel, I can honestly say I have rarely experienced this level of personalized care and attention. It was such a thoughtful gesture and demonstrated his genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Outstanding customer service like Skyler’s is rare. He turned what could have been a stressful arrival into a wonderful start to our vacation. He is truly an exceptional manager, and Meritage Resort is fortunate to have him on their team. This is my second visit to this hotel. The hotel sits in extensive pretty grounds, surrounded by vineyards (as one would expect in Napa). As not uncommon in the USA, they charge a hefty resort fee. The fee does not include parking which is an extra charge. The rooms are nice, although I would have expected a better shower. My room was on the ground floor near the swimming pool which meant that until evening hours music was booming through my room. It also meant that at 5:00 a.m. when the pool motors kicked in I could hear this whirring noise in my room. This is the first hotel I've been to in years that does not accept Apple pay or Google pay! As my card was digital, so I had to type it in at the terminal. I then received a notification on my phone that my card had been charged around $1,300 (as expected). However the hotel said the card was declined on their end and even though I showed them the charge they would not accept it and said they could not do anything. The reception manager came over and they were quite rude about it saying they would not give me my room until I paid (again). Having been traveling for around 20 hours I paid again using a different (physical) card. As it stands right now I've been charged twice, once on my physical card and once on my virtual card. I will probably have to do a chargeback to get my money back.

Wonderfully friendly staff, amazing shuttle driver, valet and check in. Pool open long hours great temp, hot jacuzzi (adults only one) property was well kept and beds very comfy. Great overnight trip! Only down side from my friends no decent coffee.
