Staff is very helpful. Hotel is located close to everything. Local grocery stores and gas stations near by. Ice machines are a journey.

This “spa” is more of a conference focused hotel. The Meritage caters to the conference crowd. During our stay there were two conferences plus at least one wedding. My husband was attending a conference and I tagged along thinking that this was a ritzy resort and spa. I was very disappointed. It is a run down property that sits in a corporate area. There are no amenities in walking distance at all. Our room was very tired. There have been no upgrades for charging devices. Our mini fridge door would not close because of an iced over freezer bin. The air conditioning sounded like it needed replaced back in the 80’s. My least favorite was the lack of decent hot water in the shower and a toilet that you had to jiggle the handle on to get it to stop running. The property was well maintained but every morning it looked like a night out in vegas had occurred. Trash bins over flowing and dishes left haphazardly around. The adult pool was my hang out due to lack of seating in other areas. The lobby was full of conventioneers at most hours. The pool was very clean and well taken care of. Every morning at 7 there was one fantastic employee that cleaned all the chairs and set up the towels. She truly worked her tail off. The other pool staff showed up at 11 for food and bar service. They were very hard workers but the pool was well understaffed for being at capacity full. The food was very marginal for the price you paid for sure. Lesson learned, I will read the reviews before tagging along on a trip.

Amazing bachelorette service for a group of 10! Was prompt, super friendly, and let us use his phone for a girlie playlist back to the hotel.

Dakota was amazing! He was timely in his pick up and was a critical component in making this bachelorette party an epic one! Thanks for the safe ride and jams!

Roxanne Campari checked us in. Not only was she efficient, courteous and helpful, but the next day I was in the lobby when she was being chastised by a customer for something that happened with their room (that clearly was not her doing). I witnessed her handle that with care, compassion and patience, never seeming upset or flustered by their aggressive tone. She is someone you should keep on staff! Very good front desk skills.
