Reviews for River Terrace Inn, A Noble House Hotel

Great overall hotel and wonderful location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We loved the location and the rooms were very comfortable. We were sad to not be able to use the outdoor patio as our weather was not great at the time of our stay. It’s such a pretty patio! There were little touches like a free wine tasting in the lobby that made our stay enjoyable. The only thing I would improve is the drink selection in the Alba bar. It left little to be desired.

This is NOT a luxury hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

This is not a luxury hotel. Misleading advertising. The rooms do not look like the pictures, customer service is non existent and rooms are not clean. Had to ask 3 times for my room to be cleaned. This is at the most a 2-star hotel. Not worth what they are charging per night.

BEWARE: Booked River view, nope, sorry gave your room to someone else!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Beware of bait and switch! We booked King Deluxe, River View. They gave us a twin double parking lot view. We complained and the guy at the desk said they switched us. Why? No reason found. Our friends same situation. When we spoke this morning to the desk the girl was less than helpful and could care less. She said they were fully booked and that it was somehow our fault for using a 2nd party booking agency. She said next time, we need to verify our room. She said “Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do…” I have a clear confirmation that is very clear on what we fully paid and booked. River view, not parking lot view! It’s the “River Terrace Hotel” people. Literally, we’re not fools. So, “unfortunately” I will write this honest review and post openly to protect other consumers.

Byer beware, false advertising.

The bed and pillows were nice. The reservation said there would be a splash of local wine included. There was a bottle in the room labeled splash of local wine with a $20 pricetag on it. The guest check in person tried to charge me more when I checked in. I told him that I had already paid $100 over the online advertized price for the same night and room that I purchased.

LOVE River Terrace!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This is our second time staying here and we just love it! Highly recommend a river view room with a balcony. It’s such a beautiful view and so calming to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine. There’s a lovely path that leads to oxbow market where there are lots of dining options. We really like The Model for breakfast (homemade English muffins!) and the Loveski deli is excellent too. It’s also easy to walk to downtown Napa. The free bikes the hotel offers are a fun touch, as are the free glasses of wine upon arrival. The staff is friendly and helpful. The exterior space is really nice with lots of seating areas with fire pits, as well as cozy rocking chairs overlooking the river. Don’t look elsewhere- stay here when in Napa!
