River Terrace Inn, A Noble House Hotel

We stayed here for several days for a class at the CIA Copia nearby. It's a wonderful location, right next to the river and a short walk from the Oxbow Market and downtown Napa. It's a Marriott property so we were able to get points too, a bonus! The rooms are older but have been refreshed and the beds were nice and comfy. They provide bathrobes and the shower and bathroom was generous with some cool features. The mirror even had a bluetooth speaker! Our room had a small balcony that looked over the parking lot and couch and table. Parking is $20 a day, which seems fine since we are so close to downtown Napa. The common areas in the hotel were really nicely done, and they have some bikes that you can rent and ride around with the first hour free. The best part of the hotel was the service. The front desk team were so friendly and helpful and we were able to check in a bit early and check out later which made our last day a lot more relaxing. The only reason I gave it four stars is that I think it felt a bit overpriced. I know Napa is expensive but still seemed pretty high. Luckily the prices were somewhat lower Monday-Wednesday so overall it wasn't that bad.

You all did it again! Exceptional experience with Guest Services and Alba staff. This time Timothy was the star. Of course, led by Toby and Pedro’s hospitality prowess. Timothy is making great steps. And Alicia and Abraham are great. Had a fun evening at the bar for a pasta dinner alongside some guests that were ordering up lots of cocktails that looked amazing. This is a location that under promises and over delivers with kindness, professionalism, and true hospitality. Look forward to returning for another riverside respite. Bless you all. Housekeeping is always missed in reviews but this humble teams does as exceptional job.

We absolutely loved our stay at River Terrace! It is a lovely property, with a idillic setting on the river with lovely, mature trees and landscaping, with many areas to sit and enjoy the setting. Our room was wonderful, and we also enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinner in such beautiful setting. We love Napa, and this has become our go to place! It’s a Marriott property, to boot, which is fabulous for us as frequent Marriott travelers!

Our suite was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were pleased with the bedding as we are allergic to feathers. Some places replace the feathers with nasty old comforters and crappy pillows. What was provided was exquisite! The bed was also comfortable as was the couch. The furniture was quite heavy and the chairs by the table were difficult to move (so we could watch tv) and not very comfortable. We had a lovely balcony the looked out over the water. Though the air conditioner was loud out on the balcony (ok in the room). The only downfall was the people upstairs. Apparently they were out late and had to have demonstrate their river dance skills, lol. Not quite that bad, but if you are a light sleeper, consider requesting a top floor room. Wish I knew ahead of time that the walkway behind the hotel went all the way to the Wine Train terminal and very close to Oxbow market. Would have saved some time getting around as we didn't have a car. There was a Keurig coffee maker in the room, with coffee, but no tea. However, the the front counter personnel provided both tea and additional creamers. There is a refrigerator in the room. I needed to heat up leftovers and discovered I could get it heated by taking it to the front counter. The food (pizza and breakfast) at the Alba cafe downstairs was very good and the servers were helpful and efficient. The seating is nice and the outdoor space was pleasant. However, they were having a heat wave, so became a bit warm later in the day. But there was still plenty of indoor seating. The customer service was great, you just need to ask if you need something. Even if it isn't on the menu, they may be able to help.

I recently stayed at the Four Seasons in New Orleans so am spoiled by that wonderful experience. My comments about the River Terrance Inn should be considered as feedback. I feel that the price of the room should include morning coffee and free parking.
