Perfect stay at the River Terrace Inn

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

We loved our stay at the River Terrace Inn. It was a special property, located by the river which you could sit on Muskoka chairs with fire pits. The terrace was perfect for chilling out in the morning for breakfast and in the evenings for drinks and empanadas. The heaters and fire pits made sure you stayed warm and comfortable when the temps cooled down. Location was ideal, walking distance to lots of places, restaurants, etc. Service was excellent. The Inn is a perfect size so it felt comfortable, easy to get from room to car and not overcrowded. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and great staff. Conveniently walk to downtown Napa. Quiet area to stay and like the onsite wine tastings

I’d go back in a heartbeat

Absolutely stunning hotel. They always have a winery on tasting between 4-5pm, extremely clean, well decorated, very close to downtown and a gorgeous walk path right next to Napa River. The mornings are stunning! Don’t forget to either get your breakfast, a REAL breakfast from either Alba restaurant in the hotel or walk to Model Bakery! I got fresh super tasty coffee with an egg, bacon and cheese epenada. I saw other ladies get waffles, eggs and sausage. Walking distance to anywhere and if you want to pay a dollar for the VineTransit bus, extremely clean, no smells, very polite people. It’s also a cheap way to visit all the wineries you want without worrying about a taxi. Highly recommend!!

Five-Star Employees, Nice Place to Stay

This is a nice place. Clean, comfortable, with some of the most genuinely helpful people I can remember encountering in a business (special shout-out to Kayla, who tried every trick in the book to help with the WiFi and also did research to find where I could get a baggage lock; and to Abraham, who mixes great drinks). Best part of the place is the outdoor patio, which faces the river and is a nice escape from the rest of the world. Needs? An actual restaurant!

Great place to stay in Napa!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

From an easy check-in to a very clean and comfortable room to a fast check-out, we had a delightful stay at the River Terrace Inn. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly and helpful front desk hostess. Check-in was a breeze and we quickly got settled in our riverfront room. No long wait for the elevator! The room was large, bright, and clean. The bed was very comfortable, as was the sofa. We didn't dine at the property, but we did have drinks in the bar. The staff was friendly and the patio is a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. The path along the river is beautiful and leads around the reserve/park to the Oxbow Public Market and the wonderful Napa Wine Train. We highly recommend staying at this charming boutique hotel.
