Edgewater Beach Hotel

I hate to leave bad reviews but this is a must. Anyone even considering this resort for your destination wedding run far far away. They are the most disorganized and unprofessional resort for a wedding I have experienced. From the planning to the actual event. They kept changing coordinators and they were all clueless. There was an up charge for every little thing. For instance having the dinner outside was part of the package but they tried to charge extra for lighting! They lost the cake topper. Dinner took hours to be served. By the time dinner was done we had a hour left on the pool deck for the reception and dancing and then had to be monitored with a decimal meter to make sure there wasn’t too much noise. There was zero direction on where guests were to go and when. It was an absolute nightmare.

Edgewater is our home away from home! We have been coming here for years and the property and staff are always amazing. Jeremy , with valet, is one of the first faces you see and he has grown to be a lifelong friend that we hope is working every time he we visit. He goes above and beyond every single time to make sure our stay is top notch.

Five stars all around. The Edgewater Beach Hotel is a beautiful property with wonderful appointments and an unbeatable beachfront setting. What truly sets it apart is the staff — incredibly helpful, down to earth, and genuinely warm. The front desk team was outstanding, especially Taylor, Roshene, Alexis and Timera. I’m sure I didn’t catch everyone’s name, but these three ladies were absolutely wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay seamless. They were flexible, accommodating, and made everything easy for us. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. I honestly cannot say enough good things about everyone there. We can’t wait to return.

Not worth your hard earned $$! We stayed between Christmas and New year and wish we would have stayed somewhere else, even at greater cost. Everything about this hotel scream tacky and outdated. The rooms are deplorable for this price range and the bathrooms felt old and dirty. You have to go in to the shower to turn it on as they designed the bathroom layout with no consideration to how most people begin a shower, by turning water on. Hotel staff is accommodating and professional, especially the man at the door and the shuttle driver. Had I know this was more of a motel experience (enter majority of rooms from outside), we would not have bothered. This is the equivalent of a glorified motel 6 with JW Marriott pricing. Save yourself the hassle and book elsewhere. I doubt this “resort” will be around much longer.

Great vacation spot. Excellent service, food, drinks, and view. Direct beach access to a private section. Dinner area and main lobby are beautiful and overlook the pool and beach. Tim was a spectacular waiter.
