Edgewater Beach Hotel

Not worth your hard earned $$! We stayed between Christmas and New year and wish we would have stayed somewhere else, even at greater cost. Everything about this hotel scream tacky and outdated. The rooms are deplorable for this price range and the bathrooms felt old and dirty. You have to go in to the shower to turn it on as they designed the bathroom layout with no consideration to how most people begin a shower, by turning water on. Hotel staff is accommodating and professional, especially the man at the door and the shuttle driver. Had I know this was more of a motel experience (enter majority of rooms from outside), we would not have bothered. This is the equivalent of a glorified motel 6 with JW Marriott pricing. Save yourself the hassle and book elsewhere. I doubt this “resort” will be around much longer.

Great vacation spot. Excellent service, food, drinks, and view. Direct beach access to a private section. Dinner area and main lobby are beautiful and overlook the pool and beach. Tim was a spectacular waiter.

We always have the best time coming here! The trolley into town is a big bonus and Jeremy along with the rest of the staff is great!

Celebrated our family member's 70th bday over the weekend. The staff's attention to detail and forward thinking allowed for such a pleasurable experience. A special shout out to Jeremy Smart at valet who made sure our group and others were taken care of.

The facilites are beautiful and comfortable. Everyone who works here, from the front desk to housekeeping to pool and beach manger and servers, cares about the guests’ experience. This was the ideal getaway for us.
