Edgewater Beach Hotel

As a Travel Advisor, I recently recommended this hotel to my clients and was thoroughly impressed. While the room type descriptions were initially a bit unclear, a quick phone call to the property resolved everything smoothly. Their website is a great resource, filled with helpful information about local attractions and resort activities. The staff went above and beyond—attentive, friendly, and truly committed to guest satisfaction. My boyfriend and I had the best time here! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome, especially Mady, who was incredibly attentive and sweet. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room was spacious, clean, and so comfortable, and the beach, pool, and ocean views were absolutely stunning. We spent our days relaxing by the water and just soaking it all in. Everything about our stay was amazing, we didn’t want to leave!

Beach front room that had been hurriedly put together after the storm. Tiny shower. Drawers that fell apart once opened. Could barely sit on toilet as it had been so badly designed in rebuild. House keeping constantly late. Beach beautiful but beach furniture old and dirty. Restaurant staff very pleasant and food was average. Yes we got a discount after constantly asking to see the manager but did not make the disastrous stay any better. It’s like a bad holiday inn at exorbitant prices. Pity as it was such a wonderful place to stay in years past. Owners are obviously waiting for developers to move in and knock hotel down. So if you go be aware the rooms are disappointing to put it mildly and The Beach Boys say there are never enough beach chairs to put out on beach as they are broken. Beware!
