Our events were handled with exceptional service and attention to details! I would like to recognize the following people without whom our events would not have been nearly the success that they were. Julie Hart & Marcy Diaz: • Flexibility & Promptness – we had several changes to our program, early on & not-so-early on. While I was panicking, Julie handled everything professionally and promptly. I think she might have a magic wand. . . . • Warm & sincere greetings & meetings – Interactions with Julie & Marcy were top notch professional, yet warmly personal. They were so attentive and through. • Personally invested in every aspect of our event, whether or not it fell in the scope of “their responsibility”. They each went above and beyond to deliver personalized services to our group. We had quite a few special requests, from room assignments, to delivery of the Wall Street Journal, to coordinating a special turkey sandwich delivery, only to name a few. All of which were met with a “no problem, our pleasure” approach. They made everything seem effortless on their end. • Attention to details. Julie & Marcy’s attention to detail started long before our arrival on property. I was continually impressed with Marcy’s great foresight, asking all the right questions even before our arrival, which was absolutely the key to the success of our event. During our stay, this continued, not only asking the right questions, but always being available to answer ours. • Availability – While the Resort was always busy, as it was mid-February, we could always reach them at a moment’s notice; they made us feel like we were the only priority. Front Desk - Wenderson • OMG – I don’t think I have ever worked with someone with such a positive energy – please bottle that. • Wenderson’s willingness to help is unsurpassed – I honestly don’t know that I have ever experienced someone better at guest service in my entire life. • Follow-through – While some guest service team members try to resolve an issue, they often lack follow-through, leading to disappointment all around. NOT the case with Wenderson. He personally walked thru several of our last-minute room change requests to ensure that they were up to expectations, hand delivered keys & mail items, just to name a couple of examples. I am not sure how, but he seemed to be everywhere, all of the time, and always with a smile! Banquet Team & AV Team – LT, Diego, Yessica & Ruben • We were fortunate enough to have the BEST banquet & AV team while at LaPlaya Resort, right from the beginning. • I met with Ruben early on in the process, while in town for a separate event. After that meeting and subsequent email communications, I never had a worry that things would go off without issue. I appreciated his suggestions & flexibility while on property as well. • Once on property, I had the pleasure of meeting LT, Yessica & Diego. All-star team! LT was very thorough & professional, covering all of the bases for our events. o Our dinner was beautiful! Yessica and her team were extremely professional & so attentive to our guests. She took great care of us, helping with some unexpected individual requests, as well as making sure we were set up, every little detail, just perfectly. When we had some last-minute table setting changes, it was like I blinked & they happened, just like that! And all of it again, with smiles & no problems. Yessica also hopped right into action when we had a medical emergency that evening. I am not sure what I would’ve done without her. Above and beyond that, her genuine concern for the woman who went to the hospital, even later into the week – just speaks volumes about her personal character and integrity; that is the stuff you just cannot teach. Just a wonderful person, professionally & personally. o Diego made things happen in a flash – he handled our breakfast & lunch on Saturday with ease. Although the group was smaller than our dinner, we still had a lot going on. Including resetting a room from a round for 10 to a hollow square for 14. There was another gentleman and of course our server for the day (Of course, I cannot remember their names, darn it!) but as seems to be the norm at LaPlaya, top notch. Golf Resort • Alan was so welcoming! He took us on a tour of the course, told us stories & just made us feel so at home. • Joanna is fantastic to work with! She was very attentive. Everything was professional, yet personalized. I so appreciated her calming presence! • Ben & team were outstanding on the course. We had a few changes in golfers & carts & rentals, which they handled with ease! We had a ton of fun! Overall, I could not be more pleased with our events at LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort. 5-star reviews to all! We look forward to working with LaPlaya in the future!

What a disappointment. What I expected was a high-end experience and resort what I got was much different. The good was the view and direct access to the beach but this never made up for the room and board experience See the pictures for what I consider a design fail with four poster beds placed in a room that makes no sense and blocks the view? A Coffee maker in the room with no coffee pods Noise was a major problem all night, with apparently no insulation between rooms or areas, meaning I might as well have been joining every conversation and activity all night long around me The hot water system appears to be out of the dark ages, taking minutes to run even warm. Last time I experienced that was in a hotel that had no circulator pump or system, and I was drawing from a hot tank some distance away. This was true in the evening and in the morning As for the internet, you can get 9/3 service or you have to pay to get any real connection.

Wow, we had an incredible beach getaway to Naples with LayaPlaya Resort. We stayed in the high rise building and our room was beautiful and spacious with a balcony and ocean view. There are lots of options from relaxing between the multiple pool areas and the white sand beach. The beachfront staff are great and there are flag poles at each chair which you can raise to request food or drinks. We loved lounging at the beach and pools, watching sports at the tiki bar, and enjoying the sunsets each night from our room balcony or down at the beach! The hotel restaurant, Baleen, is great and they have breakfast lunch and dinner. For breakfast, don't skip the short rib and eggs, we had it three times!!

My family and I enjoyed a week of pampering at the LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort. The service at the hotel was unprecedented - everything from room service to poolside and oceanside service, and the spa! The staff was kind, polite and very willing to ensure a relaxing experience. What a week!

I took my first Luxury Link trip to LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort. We had a lovely gulf front room, which was wonderful. We were very pleased with the experience. Service was top notch, always available yet not overly intrusive.
