Very nice hotel…the restaurant spoils the experience
The hotel has a lot to offer: uncomplicated and friendly welcome upon arrival, valet parking staff helpful and efficient, three great swimming pools and a nice whirlpool, a beautiful beach with great sand. The chairs are quite confortable, and the staff will provide you with enough towels and umbrellas. They are helpful and efficient. The rooms (we had a sea view) are quite spacious and confortable: nothing fancy, but the beds are confortable, the bathroom just large enough. The balcony is large enough to sit comfortably. The wifi works well. Housekeeping was always on time and efficient. The fitness studio is not huge but had everything I needed. Unfortunately, the experience at the restaurant spoiled our stay…After being told the first evening that there was no seat on the terrasse, i booked for every meal for the following days. The problem is that the next day, the staff at the entrance of the restaurant told me (they were talking to me like to a child…)that my reservations would only allow me to get in line to get a table on the terrasse….So the principle is basically that you pay thousands of dollars for your room, you book your tables and you have the right to stay in line to hope for a table. 45 minutes the second evening, and 20-40 minutes the following days. With a baby…. Now the tone always comes from the top: as I complained with the restaurant manager, he listened to me and just disappeared without helping in any way…pathetic! But the restaurant should not worry: they are apparently full booked every night and that will probably not change. This being said, the terrasse can be a bit chilly, and is very noisy. The food is ok but not more. The service is below average (had to ask at least 2 or 3 times for a baby chair each time), and except for Adriano in the evening waiting time was long .

Awesome and welcoming
Drew was amazing! What a view too. The room is incredible. The vibe is bar none, not stuffy or pushy at all. An incredible experience!

Amazing few days at La Playa
We just spent an amazing 4 days at La Playa. From the accommodations, to the food to the service, everything was fantastic (including the perfect weather and the dolphins swimming past us in the ocean). Will definitely go back!

My family and I enjoyed a week of pampering at the LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort. The service at the hotel was unprecedented - everything from room service to poolside and oceanside service, and the spa! The staff was kind, polite and very willing to ensure a relaxing experience. What a week!

I took my first Luxury Link trip to LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort. We had a lovely gulf front room, which was wonderful. We were very pleased with the experience. Service was top notch, always available yet not overly intrusive.
