LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort

My wife and I checked in this afternoon. Aidan at the desk has been first class the whole check in process. He even went way beyond to upgrade us into a beachfront tower room. He made sure our luggage was taken from our first room to our new room. He even walked us over. We have stayed at the Ritz Carlton and JW Marriott over here and he has way surpassed the customer service we experienced at those properties. 5 star service here at La Playa.

We had an amazing time and our server Damjana was wonderful and very knowledgeable. She truly made our night!

I loved my stay at the resort! The customer service was outstanding, and the staff always checked to see if we needed anything. A special thank-you to Michael, who helped us with our luggage when we arrived and when we left. He made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay!

My husband and I went for a 2 day/1 night stay at the La Playa Resort in Naples. Our experience was exceptionally amazing. The staff was very attentive and friendly from the time we checked in until our departure. The rooms were very clean and fresh. I would recommend the resort to anyone for a restful friendly vacation.

We booked a junior suite at LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort in Naples, FL for my wife’s 65th birthday celebration, and what happened was beyond unacceptable — something I never thought I would experience at a supposedly high end hotel resort. At 11 PM, when we were getting ready for bed, we pulled back the sheets and found dry bodily fluid stains and hair on the mattress. Housekeeping spent over two hours trying to fix it, repeatedly bringing queen size sheets and covers that didn’t fit the bed. They couldn’t find the correct bedding for the junior suite we paid for. After that failed, they moved us to another room — but it wasn’t comparable, and it had an equipment room right outside the door, blasting noise loud enough that sleep would have been impossible. We went back to the front desk, and they told us they had nothing else available. At that point, we demanded a full refund and said we were leaving. Instead of helping, the night manager was dismissive and rude. She charged us for one night, told us to “take it up with the daytime manager tomorrow,” and acted like we were the inconvenience. So instead of celebrating her 65th birthday, we ended up driving home at 1 AM — and because of this, we also lost our restaurant reservations and tickets for a comedy show the next day, all prepaid and non refundable. The next day the daytime manager called and apologized, fully refunded us our playa resurvation, and promised a gift certificate will be sent the next day so we could “come back and experience the amazing stay we should have had.” Well that never happned. I emailed asking for the promised certificate — and well now they’re ghosting us. And based on how all of this was handled, it really feels like this isn’t an isolated incident and happens often. So to add insult to injury- Tomorrow certificate never came. No response. No accountability. Posting this publicly because private communication clearly isn’t a priority for you. Do better....much And please don’t follow up with the same canned response you leave on every negative review — “thanks for bringing this to our attention.” Sad.
