Bobby Hotel is located just a few boot-clad steps from Nashville’s historic haunts in Boutique Row. This boutique hotel, part of the Lifestyle collection by Preferred Hotels & Resorts, resides just steps away from downtown, yet far away enough from the bustle to get some shut eye. The custom designed atmosphere lends itself to an inherently creative, yet lavish experience and will solidify you as a lifelong friend of Bobby’s.

Underwhelming is my overall impression from the chaotic checking in process with more staff than guests loitering in the lobby to the gloominess of the communal areas and bedrooms. Great location walkable everywhere. Poor customer service though as my sink leaked throughout my stay soaking, towels, amenities and hairdryer. Despite reporting it several times the sink wasn’t fixed, the amenities and towels were not replaced and I had to go find a hair dryer myself. Small annoyances was that there was no garbage bin in the bedroom but a hole in the cupboard door for trash and no kettle in the room but you could order coffee to be delivered between 0500-0700 but there was no tea option. Housekeeping carts were left in the corridor outside our room during our entire stay.

First and foremost — do yourself a favor and book the spa. I had the best massage of my life at the Bobby Hotel, and I’ve had a lot of massages. David is incredibly talented, using just the right pressure and really working through all my tender spots. I grind my teeth and asked him to do facial massage on my sore jaw along with my neck and back — he took his time, and I absolutely floated out of there. Other positives: The minibar is one of the best-stocked I’ve ever seen, with reasonable prices. The room is cute, and while I saw concerns in reviews about the commode privacy, there’s actually a curtain you can pull — totally fine. No ice machine or in-room coffee maker, but they deliver ice on request, and even free coffee to your room between 5–7 AM (and it’s excellent coffee). The rooftop bar is adorable, and the pool — while small — wasn’t crowded and felt just right. A couple downsides: I booked partly because of the “Dog in Residence,” but unfortunately, there was no dog during my stay. Happy to know he was adopted, but I was a little disappointed not to meet him. Tried to order room service a couple times, but no one answered the phone. There’s a resort fee (around $30) that I wasn’t aware of when booking on Expedia. However, they gave us $15/day credit for restaurants/spa plus free Wi-Fi, so to me, it ended up being worth it. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the Bobby. Between the rooftop, the thoughtful touches, and especially the spa, it’s a unique boutique hotel experience that I’d recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We spent 6 nights at the Bobby Hotel and it was outstanding from start to finish. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Nashville but still feels like a stylish retreat. Rooms were spotless and super comfortable, with loads of quirky touches that make this hotel unique. The staff truly made our stay ~ Katie at reception was fantastic, always welcoming and helpful, and Finn the valet couldn’t have been nicer or more efficient. The rooftop pool and bus bar are absolute highlights, and the food and drinks across the hotel were excellent. Bobby Hotel is now our Nashville go-to — highly recommend!
