what a wonderful hotel! the staff was so helpful! the gym terrific, the restaurants delicious! loved the rooms/ bathrooms and maid service was super helpful!

This historic hotel has a wonderful history and is preserved perfectly. Truly luxurious accommodations and great service. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I attended a work event and the hotel, meeting rooms and catering were top notch.

Oh my! Wow. We’ve been blessed to stay at some of the finest hotels around the world—Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, Peninsula, Rosewood, and so many others. We’ve experienced beautiful properties, exceptional service, and truly memorable stays. But even among those incredible hotels, The Hermitage Hotel in Nashville holds the number one spot in our hearts. It is our favorite hotel in the world. Period. The staff is a huge part of what makes it so special. There is a warmth and graciousness to the service that makes you feel genuinely welcome, while still delivering the refinement you expect from a world-class hotel. That balance is something we appreciate deeply, and The Hermitage gets it right. The accommodations are gorgeous -- elegant, refined, and wonderfully comfortable. There’s so much to appreciate in the surroundings, but it’s the care behind them that truly stands out. The housekeeping deserves particular praise. It is, quite literally, the best we have experienced anywhere. When you’ve stayed in as many exceptional hotels as we have, that is no small compliment. And the food is incredible. Dining is part of what we look forward to in a great hotel, and The Hermitage’s food deserves to be mentioned right alongside its beautiful accommodations and stellar staff. It adds another reason to love being there. What makes The Hermitage our favorite is how all of these things come together. The elegance, the comfort, the hospitality, the meticulous housekeeping, and the wonderful food each contribute to an experience that means so much to us. We have tremendous appreciation for the extraordinary hotels we’ve visited around the world, but this is the one that stands above them all for us. Nashville is lucky to have The Hermitage, and we feel lucky to have experienced it. Our absolute favorite! ~The Harr Family

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary.Everything was truly amazing from the moment we checked in and until we drove away. There was chocolate covered strawberries and champagne waiting for us. Every single staff member was incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay, going above and beyond to making our stay memorable. Dinner in our room was excellent. Chocolate truffles at bed time , bubble bath, pillow menu.. everything was just wonderful. We will never forget our stay and hope to get to come back again one day.

Stay here for business and it never disappoints. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and beautifully appointed — a real retreat after long meeting days. Staff and management were consistently attentive, professional, and quick to handle any request. A great choice for business travelers or tourists who still want a touch of Southern elegance downtown.
