Additional charges at pool
First I want to say Megan in the gift shop/spa was absolutely amazing and made my friend and my experience so special and fun! But, now for the bad part. My friend were so excited to spend a day at the pool celebrating my birthday. I was charged an additional $140 and my friend an additional $97. This is on top of the drink and food tab we had. We called to get it cleared up and Layla was very rude. To have $250 tied up while they figure it out seems ridiculous. And I want to think the best of everyone but I do think this was an intentional scam by the staff. It’s sad because I love the JW and was planning on going back for spa treatments and staycations this summer but I can’t risk having my card charged additionally. On resort pass where we bought our pool passes, reviews were stating the same problem of their card being additionally charged at the pool dining. I hope they get this resolved because it’s a beautiful hotel and pool.
