JW Marriott Nashville

Location was across the street from meeting. Street noise was an issue ! Would stay on back side of hotel away from 8 th. Street. Great customer service. Especially Kubi at valet.

We stayed three couples at the JW in Nashville for a birthday weekend. We were all quite disappointed by the “5 star hotel”. The hotel resembled a classic business hotel with average rooms. I would at max think this was a 4 star hotel. The pool area and gym did not resemble 5 star either. The hotel needs upgrades from the rooms to the amenities. Positive note it was very centrally located and had a nice view from the room. I think if you are looking for a 5 star hotel in Nashville you can definitely find better hotels for the value of money you pay for staying at the JW.

Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF): I Would Definitely Stay Here Again! **Location:** The hotel is within walking distance of many of downtown Nashville’s popular attractions, including the Country Music Hall of Fame and Broadway. It’s also far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. **Check-In:** As a Bonvoy member, I was offered a room upgrade and was able to check in early. However, I needed to check in even earlier than the time initially offered, and the hotel accommodated my request for a small fee. **Room:** The room was a standard hotel room with a nice amount of space. The bathroom was large and updated, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. **Gym:** The gym had an unusual layout but all the essential equipment. There was also a separate, fairly large room for stretching. Water and fresh fruit were available, which was a nice touch when I needed a light snack before or after working out. **Pool:** The pool area could use some improvement. The service wasn’t the best, and the area seemed to get a little crowded. Since the pool is on the rooftop, there was also no escaping the sun. Adding a jacuzzi would be a great way to enhance the pool experience. **Amenities:** This was probably the best part of the hotel! Guests received gelato or sherbet daily, an additional daily snack, a daily activity pass, and $20 per day to put toward a meal. These perks were such a treat and added a lot of value to my stay! **Hospitality:** While I found the check-in staff to be less friendly and accommodating than I would have liked, the team at Stompin’ Grounds Restaurant and Market more than made up for it. I especially want to give a personal shout-out to Renata and Ha! Both were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they genuinely seemed to love their jobs and making guests feel welcome. Ha went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. I can’t say enough good things about these two women, and I hope to return and see them again! **Food:** I ate at Stompin’ Grounds Restaurant for both breakfast and lunch, and the food was delicious. I also put that $20 daily dining credit to excellent use throughout my stay! **Final Thoughts:** I would absolutely stay at this hotel again the next time I visit Nashville. Between the friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, daily perks, and convenient location, it’s an easy decision. Despite a few minor areas for improvement, the overall experience was excellent, and I look forward to returning!

We are Marriott property loyalists and this was our first time at this beautiful property. Rooms, restaurant, and lounge are all beautiful. I think what makes this place great is its staff. The staff is so friendly and helpful!

We had a good stay at the hotel. However, during our four night stay, we never had or were offered turn down service - an amenity frequently mentioned in other reviews. Like other reviewers, I am not a fan of the shower without a door. Highlights of my stay - breakfast every morning at Stompin’ Grounds where I was enthusiastically welcomed by Ha. Staff were incredibly friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the steel cut oats and fresh fruit. Shout out to Wendy, a staff member who was a delight to chat with and extremely helpful when I needed the Stepmill in the gym rebooted so I could complete my morning workout. Location of the JW is a bonus. Downtown is a quick walk, as is the Country Music Hall of Fame.
