Terrible communication and customer service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

I stayed at the Loews Hotel end of June, and as is common practice I asked if I could get a package delivered to the reception during my stay- to which the receptionist told me this would be fine and she would notify me once it’s arrived. However, not once was I notified of this package being delivered (it was delivered during my 5 night stay) and therefore by the time I’d left I assumed it hadn’t yet been delivered so I went to track and redirect it and turns out it had! By this time I was already on the other side of the country, I promptly emailed Loews and they told me they would pass it onto the concierge team who would then be in contact with me- this was two months ago and after emailing Loews twice they still haven’t gotten in touch with me. And, in their initial email the tone was cold and abrupt, no apologies despite them failing to fulfil a basic service of letting me know when it came in- which they assured me they would do. Honestly really appalled with this and won’t be staying here again, despite my stay being okay how I’ve been treated afterwards is shocking when my parcel was valuable and I’ve now flown across the globe home without it because of their lack of care. If you say you’re going to do something, how about you stick to your word? And if you don’t, at least try be polite and actually get the concierge to email me like you said? I have left a google review to try get someone to help me with this, and the response I got was “thanks for your review”.

Not a Four or Five Star Room or Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Our experience at Loew’s Nashville. When we arrived, we were offered a bigger room, so of course we said yes. When we got to the room, the condition was a bit disappointing. We were shocked to see that our view was a rooftop HVAC system. This is information I believe ishould’ve been told to us when offering us that bigger room. I’ve included pictures so you can see what I’m talking about. (Dirty stained bench at end of bed, multiple carpet tears, etc). In addition to the condition of the room we experienced an air conditioner that was so loud we had to have the television at a much higher volume and speak loudly over the sound of the system when running. When the air conditioner would turn off the TV would be way too loud. We also had a coffee maker that never worked. We had a bathroom sink that didn’t drain. We let the person who cleaned the room know that it wasn’t working, but nothing was ever done. For the first two mornings that we were there, work was being done on the room next to ours starting around 7:15 AM. It wasn’t the kind of noise or atmosphere we expected on our vacation. Regarding the valet parking, we decided to pay the $50 a day and yet the first two mornings when we were ready to leave, we had to wait additional time for our car, even after giving the attendants the required 20 minutes request time before showing up at the curb. That additional time was between 25 and 30 minutes of waiting at the curb. One time the lady came out and told us she couldn’t find the keys to the car. When it was time to check out, we stopped at the front desk to confirm charges that were put on our room. They were accurate. The lady asked us how our stay was we politely recounted most of the issues with the room and the valet parking. She was kind and emoved the valet parking charges.

HORRIBLE - - AVOID THIS MISMANAGED HOTEL

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This is an operationally mismanaged hotel. On a Saturday morning at 8 am, the hotel started construction on various rooms on multiple floors tearing apart walls with power tools, rip saws, drills and hammers, and with no notice to guests or care at all about them. After being woken up and coming to my sense about what was occuring, I called down, but construction continued. So, groggy and with bed head, I went downstairs, spoke to the “Director - Front Office” who insisted there was no construction, “just HVAC stack replacement” and told me there was nothing he could do, no refunds, can’t move me, no nothing. Most normal hotels would have this posted on their website before you book, and would send guests written reminders, but no notice from this hotel. Oh, and the manager repeatedly denied there was any construction occuring in the hotel, “just air conditioning replacement”.
