Southern Hospitality done right!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 14 hours ago

I was at Omni hotel for Autodesk University trade show. Nashville exceeded my expectations, with southern warmth and delicious food; this was a trip to remember. Stop by the bar and ask for Todd's old-fashioned with extra cherry, and don't leave without tasting the brisket leek sandwich. Cool off with a dip in the beautiful outdoor pool and treat your sore muscles in the hot tub. Bar hop on Broadway from morning till night, stop by the 100-year-old bar Layla's, and fall in love with country music transcending time. Ride the bull and line dance, grab a beer and brisket at Martin's and stay an extra day! :)

Perfect Hotel to Explore Nashville

A perfect hotel in a perfect location to get the feel of Nashville! If you need transportation, reach out to Bruce Johnson—our group used him to get to several sights that were not walkable. He was prompt, professional and just a really great man! You can reach out to the Omni for his contact info! Highly, highly recommend the hotel and Bruce!!!

Good hotel in a great location

The location is superb, attached to the Country Music Hall of fame and 2 blocks from Broadway. The room was big but a little dated. Service was outstanding. Our room was on the 15th floor with great views of downtown. The building itself is 22 stories tall and very modern. The lobby area and bar were excellent. Check in and out were super quick. My only disappointment was that I had requested a room with a king bed but was given on with 2 queens. The room was large but the AC was noisy. There were some minor scratches and dents on the door. Water pressure was excellent. The pool area on the 4th floor was very nice and big. The Kitchen restaurant was excellent for breakfast and lunch. The lobby bar was a great place to hang out.

This stay ruined our whole trip.

Staying here crushed my soul. They do not have self parking so you have to park far away and lug all of your bags through the streets to get there. This already put me in a bad mood because it gave me severe neck and shoulder pains. Our room was fine until later that evening I realized that the bed had stains on the covers. Gross! The staff was "sorry" but didn't offer any help for us to move our bags. They didn't upgrade our room either, we actually got a worse view from the second room. The next room was not clean either in the bathroom. There was no soap and there was toilet paper crusted to the back of the toilet. We both had bad headaches so we decided to let it go. We were not able to get good sleep because there was music blaring all night long and the beds were very uncomfortable. This further aggravated my neck and shoulder pain. They called the room but when I answered no one was there. They never sent anyone up to check on us. They wasted my time sending me multiple emails when I was there saying they were "sorry" but did nothing to really help us out. We went to the pool the next day and it was run down dirty there too. The drink credit is also nothing special. You can only get house wine or beer which translates to cheap wine/beer. The kind that will give you a headache. I asked for a full refund but the hotel is refusing. They are saying that we didn't complain enough even though I called/emailed several times and went to the front desk several times.. Their customer service is VERY poor. This place feels like a bait and switch. They will waste you time to get your ideas on how they can improve but they will not compensate you for it. I feel very disgusted that I chose to come here to celebrate my anniversary. The negative experience with the hotel affected our whole stay in Nashville so we were not able to enjoy any of it. The whole trip was a waste of our money and time. I always thought Omni was a name I could trust but I guess that is no longer the case unfortunately. All I want is a full refund at this point.

Amazing hotel in Nashville!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

The location of this hotel is perfect for the life in Nashville. Its close enough to walk to all the fun and far enough to disconnect for a relaxing night. The roof top pool was very well kept. With the staff continously going around the pool to pick up empty cups from guests in order to maintain that cleanliness expectation. All the staff were very nice and knowledgeable in case we were looking for recommendations. The room we stayed in had a beautiful view with huge windows as well as black out curtains for the perfect sleep. Overall stay was 1000/10. Most definitely going to stay here again anytime I come to Nashville!
