Such a disappoint Staff young and not very welcoming. The rooms are small and not well set up. Virtually no space to work on the desk area. No free coffee in the morning and given the price of the rooms this really shows a lack of customer service. The dining was pretty good and portions large but breakfast will still run at least $30 pp.

Fabulous front desk staff and valet. So nice and accommodating. My beautiful elderly mom was with us and they treated her like the Queen!

I am so disappointed by my experience in the less than 24 hour stay I had at The Thompson. There were multiple issues with both service and food. First, I walked in to the hotel at 9:30 pm and attempted to order room service. When I called I was told the wait for room service was over 2 hours because the restaurant was busy. So basically I would get my dinner at midnight! It was a Saturday night. I would expect the restaurant to be busy, but it's a hotel and so I would expect to have access to room service. I ate some nuts in the room and went to bed hungry. It was such a bad feeling. In the morning I went down for breakfast. Put aside the fact that I received an omelette with sausage and meat when I ordered a veggie omelette. The omelette was not made with fresh eggs. It was a hard, chewy, flat saucer they filled with veggies. The person sitting in the next seat saw it and commented it looked like what you would get on a flight. That was a perfect description! It was quite expensive and so bad. I tried eating it but couldn't . Finally, I checked out after breakfast. The front desk clerk was rude and gave me such an attitude. I had not complained about anything. I was simply checking out. There are so many nice hotels in this area. I will definitely be staying somewhere else next time.

From the moment I walked inside the hotel to check in I had a wonderful experience. Kavid at the front desk was welcoming and so kind. He went above and beyond with his hospitality. I stayed the night on Valentine’s Day and loved every minute of it. Upon checking in I was offered complimentary sparkling wine, and there were chocolates inside my room as well. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. 10/10 experience and I would definitely recommend.
