Tiara was amazing she was so nice and even helped us get a dinner reservation at one of the restaurants we couldn't get into. Give her a raise!!!! She deserves it!!!!

Tiara was an amazing staff member during our stay at one of the pool cabanas! She checked on us regularly and was extremely personable and nice. Highly recommend!

The Grand Hyatt Baha Mar resort is truly a special event destination resort. The resort is stunning inside and out, and offers incredible amounts of dining, shopping, and fun activities for all ages. The waterpark was amazing and had so many thrilling rides to experience. We celebrated my daughter's wedding there on 8/8/25, and it went very well, but we did have many communication concerns with the GH/BM wedding coordinators, as our first coordinator confirmed items that the second coordinator did not seem to be aware of, or didn't speak with the first coordinator who left her position. What was documented in the GH/BM wedding contract were vague items which didn't specify exactly where the wedding ceremony and reception were to be hosted on the resort grounds. Also, since we were impacted by weather conditions, the % of rain forecast varied from 35% to 50%+ and the coordinator told us that anything over 50% chance of rain the GH/BM will make the final decision if the wedding would be held outside or inside at a backup location. None of this was ever documented in the wedding contract, so we pushed back on this. My daughter's wedding location (East Beach - outside Marcus Fish+Chop House) could not be honored as the 2nd coordinator told us that location was already booked, when the 1st coordinator told my daughter it was available. This was extremely upsetting and they showed us another beach location just East of the one we wanted and this location was a sloped, narrow strip of beach which we declined. We were offered the Palm Lawn as another location which we eventually accepted, however, due to the rains during the day, we eventually opted for the wedding backup location in the convention center's Bimini Ballroom and outside deck for the reception and ceremony, respectively. Bottom-line: We had a beautiful wedding, even if we couldn't get what we wanted (beach location, weather), but the communication from the GH/BM coordinators could have been much better.

This hotel has everything you need for a great vacation. So far we're enjoying our stay! One of the best things we have done was rent a cabana by the Reflections Pool for the day. That was a little slice of heaven! Samantha served us with great energy and accommodated our every need.

Awesome trip to Grand Hyatt Baja Mar!! Family had great time, great beach and location was perfect. Definitely go to Regatta Buffet and sit in Lakeisha section. She is funny, quick and remembered our drink orders by memory each day.
