Grand Hyatt Baha Mar

They should subtract one star of this hotel. It’s first time in this hotel and definitely last time. Every interaction with staff had been so poor and reflection of them being overwhelmed. After we checked in they said the room is not ready and we will call. They never did until we checked with them later and heard the room has been ready for a while. There is this assumption that you should find your way around the hotel, no one said anything about the map where you can eat etc. again everyone seems to be overwhelmed reflecting the hotel is short of staff. We called three times for extra hangers in the room until finally someone came. With the nightly rates and extremely expensive food in the hotel I am not sure why people choose this location.

We had a fabulous vacation at Baha Mar and stay at the Grand Hyatt. The restaurants are very expensive but all the food is great. The kids had a fabulous time in the pools and the different age appropriate water parks. It’s probably the nicest water park we’ve ever been to. For Transportation we used Cheryl's Bahamas Taxi and I would HIGHLY recommend using them. They were professional and the customer service was incredible. Upon arrival, they had car seats for our children ready to install in the vans and also helped us find distilled water for a cpap machine. On our return trip, we left a bag at the resort and Cheryl had another driver pick it up and bring it to us at the airport so we wouldn’t be late for our flight. Cheryl and her team are incredible!

CASINOS! BRIGHT LIGHTS! SPEND! STRONG AC EVERYWHERE EVEN IF ITS CHILLY OUTDOORS! SPEND MORE! If this is your idea of a beach vacation, you will have a blast at this hotel—because truth be told, it does have its positives, including good rooms, a nice beach area, and access to a great water park. But if you prefer not to be gouged for every single expense at a hotel, avoid this one and instead book one of the other hotels on the island. Even if they are a little more expensive at first, your overall stay will likely cost less because you won’t have to deal with the absurd pricing at this hotel.

The front desk associate, Martina, was super nice and very professional. Checking in was a breeze and fast and, the room was super confortable and with a beautiful view of the island of Bahamas.

Beautiful resort! Great restaurants and lots of entertainment! Kind and helpful staff! The location is perfect! Gorgeous views.
