Repeating what other reviewers have already said. Great hard product, terrible soft product. Wonderful location and amenities but this is a Hyatt by name only. As a Globalist it will be a long time before I visit this property again. I paid for three rooms for myself, my parents and sister's family. It is extremely pricy for the product and that includes the savings as a Globalist of no resort fee (north of $90 per night including VAT) and free breakfast. The resort is making a killing and really has no incentive to adhere to any Hyatt standards. Only with pressure form Hyatt corp will these franchises make any changes, and I doubt that will be coming any time soon. It is sad as the resort is very cool. The service was really hit and miss, there are some great employees, but most do not give a hoot. I understand island time, having lived in Zanzibar for a year, but when you are charging these prices and claim to be a Grand Hyatt, there is a certain expectation. Save your money and go somewhere else.
