Excellent service - Don the Bellman
Don the bellman was great! He helped us with our ride and made sure our luggage was safe while we walked around the resort after check out. Thanks for a great experience Don!

Beware resort fee
We stayed at the Bahamas Grand Hyatt at the end of October through British Airways. When we checked in they held €200 a day on my credit card for likely expenditure. When we checked out I was charged a daily resort fee of €81 for use of the facilities and room service/ cleaning. I was told this was a compulsory fee even though I was not advised of this charge when I checked in and they would not exclude it from by bill. I strongly objected but they would not remove it so beware. Over all I would not stay at this hotel again, breakfast for two is typically €100, an average dinner €200-300, wine cheapest bottle €98 for a plno grigio! Not good value. The place is looking tired and so did most of the staff. Bahamas has a real problem as many other countries offer the same or better facilities for better value.

Perfect Caribbean Vacation!
Wonderful hotel and super location on the beach! We enjoyed the pool area, the restaurants and the common areas in the hotel. This hotel was modern and large. It never felt too big. Was very clean and well taken care of.

I Want to Get Away Back to the Baha Mar
I went for my birthday with one of my best friends. We had the best time ever. It was the weekend of the Culinary Arts Festival featuring Lenny Kravitz!!! Need I say more. Everything was amazing, the food, the art show etc. Our rooms were clean, big and spacious. We had the best views. I only wished we had a regular balcony instead of a juliette. But I love this property and will be back.
