Good but not great
We stayed for 5 days. The hotel facility is great. Imagine a high end Las Vegas casino (Bellagio or Wynn) on the beach. If you are looking for an “island vibe” this hotel is not it. It is Las Vegas, even the layout of the hotel is the same with casino in the center and high end shops, restaurants around it. Once outside the hotel, it is beautiful with many activities, pools, etc. The one big I use I had was the service. The staff were simply not friendly. They were not outright rude but did the absolute minimum that job required, as if they are doing you a favor. Second, was the fact that the pool closed at 5. No one was able to explain why. I imagine they want people to get in and gamble but for people who want to relax closing the pool that early is ridiculous. So if you are looking for Vegas on the beach, this Hyatt is it.

Flawless Check-in
Check in with Martiqua was a breeze! Welcomed with a tasty rum punch and accommodated for an early check in. Looking forward to the rest of my stay :)

Don the bellman was so so helpful upon our departure from the hotel! He called our driver and made sure we got in right car. Ask for him!!!!
