July in the Bahamas
Baha Mar is a lovely resort with many pools, restaurants, activities as advertised. The price tag suggests a more luxurious experience, but doesn't quite live up to that. If you are traveling without kids, prepare yourself because apparently this is a place where you take toddlers and kids under 10yo. Do the Baha Beach club, Cafe Madeline, Marcus; the waterpark is fun for adults in the AM when the kids aren't awake yet. Go off property and see something other than the resort, we felt safe walking through the downtown/port areas.

Samantha at Vibez was the best waitress! Absolutely loved her. Gave us plenty of recommendations beyond food - things to do with our little one and family.

Wouldn’t go back
Food was overly priced as everyone comments on. Poole were always dirty with floating debris. Never chairs at pool or ocean open despite getting there before pool opened - people would save the chairs and never come back. There were signs saying that staff would monitor that and they never did. Not much to do for entertainment for adults on the resort. Room service left our shampoo, conditioner and body wash completely empty during our entire stay. Several bathrooms were out of soap our entire time. The Bahamas was beautiful and the ocean was great but overall I would not recommend this hotel.

Rude and indifferent staff with no sense of hospitality. Smiles were few and far between, service was slow, and there were constant delays during dining. On top of that, mandatory gratuities were added to everything—even something as simple as a cup of ice cream or a croissant from a stand. The food was overpriced for the quality and experience. Check-in took far too long, the beds and room were dirty, and there was a persistent sewage smell throughout the property, including the shower and common areas. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. I will never return and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

The best resort! My family had the best time. Everything was amazing definitely do the rose island swimming with the pigs!
