We ate breakfast at the Palms cafe twice being here and Samantha was the best server. She was attentive, polite, and cheerful. Great experience

Resort was fun with great pools with bars and a nice beach area. Water park was also good with the kids. Overall a great experience.

As a returning guest and Hyatt Discoverist member, I’ve always associated Hyatt with consistency, warmth, and professionalism. This stay shattered that belief. What I encountered was a property operating on autopilot — overpriced, under-cared-for, and shockingly indifferent to the very guests who sustain its brand. From the start, it was clear that my loyalty status carried no weight. No recognition, no courtesy — not even a gesture that acknowledged repeat business. But the defining moment came when I asked for a simple towel and was told none were available. Moments later, I watched another guest receive two without hesitation. That wasn’t just poor service — it was a moment that made me feel unwelcome and unseen. When I raised the issue with management, the lack of empathy was astonishing. The room itself told the same story: surface-level cleaning masking a lack of genuine care. Dust, grime, and details ignored — the hallmarks of a team that’s either undertrained, unsupported, or unmotivated. This isn’t about perfection — it’s about pride. Hyatt built its reputation on thoughtful service and trust. Experiences like this erode both. I hope leadership reads this not as an attack, but as a wake-up call: the basics matter, loyalty matters, and indifference is expensive.

The overall resort was beautiful, but there was construction going on that closed one of the larger pools and restaurants. Also, the restaurants were very overpriced and the portions were small. Drink were very expensive from resort bars. Water park was refreshing and plenty of rides to enjoy.
