Our 4th time here, we stay in the reef every time as a family of 4 and 5. Great to have the kitchen, laundry option and more space than a normal hotel room. It keeps us coming back because it's so easy to fly from Boston and we know what to expect. I do wish there were more grab and go casual dining options outside of Shake Shack. Despite people complaining about cost of Atlantis, we looked at a TON of resorts and this was still more reasonable with the option to have 5 people (with the baby) in the room vs booking 2. It's a tried and true experience for us. Their groundskeeping, fish exhibits and overall resort is unmatched. They are doing a ton of new projects and upgrades to stay relevant, which I think is smart.

Great time with our family. Kids crushed the water slides & pools, while we (mom & dad) partook in those adventures and got some chill pool time.

The room was nice and matched descriptions with a great view. Nobu was a disappointment and the service was the worst out of all the end resutaurants. Carmine's had the best value. Our top choice would be Jose' Fish which was expensive but very good and great service.

Atlantis is definitely showing it's age. Most Women's bathrooms had stalls that had lock and/ or doors broken. More than half the beach chairs' sun protectors were broken-- there are plenty of chairs, but generally you had to drag/ swap out chairs to get working sun protectors and there isn't a lot of staff to help you. The buffet wasn't worth the money-- ours was included in our price, so it was fine, but often food was cold and there were long lines especially to get fresh made omelets. All of the specialty restaurants were amazing- Nobu, Paranza, Fish, Cafe Martinique-- all fabulous food and service. Shake Shack is a fun treat especially with the aquarium in the background. The water park was fun, but everyday had multiple slides that were closed, but then would be opened the next day. The Dig- the aquarium - was very cool. All of the marine life was fun to explore and adds to the ambiance. We stayed at The Reef, and the room was very nice and a great location. All the pools were nice and the beaches were better than expected. It's a mega resort, so it's huge- be prepared to walk and take wrong turns. There aren't straight paths and it can get confusing until you work out the easiest way to get somewhere. Entertainment is lacking, the casino is an ok size for the resort and there is only 1 dance club. Overall, it's great for families and still a place worth going to, I just hope that they do some necessary repairs and upgrades.

Lovely in general but there’s always something that seems to be amiss and needing to be requested for to make it spectacular
