It was and is amazing but the room needs a little upgrade! I am staying in a suite and there is a very tiny trash can . I know that is how it’s supposed to be but if someone is buying the suite, more than likely they have a lot of people saying in those rooms. In that case we need bigger trash cans. Frying pans are essential. We tried making eggs and there was no frying pans so we had to use a pot. That is a little crazy. An amazing hotel shouldn't be doing that. And I bet it’s not just us! Frying pans are not just for eggs, it’s for like every breakfast and I understand you might want people going to Cleo cafe but they should be able to have breakfast in their room too! Another essential thing is ovens. I know that’s a whole thing not just buy an items and place it there. It’s like a whole buy the oven and make space for it and yeah. Again I tried making chicken nuggets and there is NO oven. My second option but the microwave but that make them all soggy and bad. Who wants to eat those! Paper towels are a need. I don’t even think I need to say anything big here because that’s just common sense. We’re using tissues that dissolves in a second. Privacy is key. I bet you don’t want someone coming in the restroom while you’re in there taking a shower, using the restroom or changing. That’s is just weird. The reason that happens is because you guys don’t put locks on the doors! I really don’t like that. Some of the doors lock but ALL of them need to be lockable as well. A quick thing to add into this is the bathroom shutters. At least in my room there are shutters in the bathroom. There are rods inside the bathroom to control them ( like open and close duh ) but they can also do that outside of the bathroom. While I showering somebody walked in because there are no locks and someone opened the blinds! That invades by privacy and is not ok. Them doing that is not your fault but their ability to do that is. Overall my experience was great but those things NEED to be fixed. Also I read the review tips you guys put out like the do’s and don’t do’s. I read it after I wrote all of this and I believe I didn’t use any threats. If I did I’m so dearly sorry! I thing I wrote 1-3 words in all caps so I am sorry for that but those are important and I ok y used my experience. I really do like you guys share that list!😊

My stay at this hotel was unfortunately overshadowed by several disappointing interactions with the staff. The first incident occurred at the pool, where I moved a lounge chair slightly. Rather than approaching me courteously, a staff member yelled at me in front of other guests. Regardless of hotel policies, there is never a reason to speak to a guest in such an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. The second incident happened on the beach and was even more concerning. A staff member seated another guest directly under my umbrella, leaving virtually no personal space, despite there being other available areas. When I politely expressed my concern, the other guest became verbally aggressive toward me. Instead of stepping in to de-escalate the situation or finding a solution that would make both guests comfortable, the staff member simply told the other guest that everything was fine and stood by while I was verbally attacked. Luxury hospitality is about more than beautiful facilities—it is about professionalism, respect, and making guests feel welcome and safe. In both situations, the staff failed to handle conflicts appropriately and instead contributed to an uncomfortable experience. I hope management takes these incidents seriously and provides additional training on guest relations, conflict resolution, and respectful communication. No guest should feel embarrassed, disrespected, or unsupported during what is supposed to be a relaxing vacation.

I like to kindly share my experience at this resort. I would use caution when staying at this resort as it was subpar. Our room was dirty, and there was fecal stains on the sofa. In addition, the coffee maker in the room did not work and I had to go down to the front desk just to get an extra roll of toilet paper because we ran out. If you try and call the front desk on the phone, no one picks up and that’s the same case whether you try and call the spa, or any other facilities as well. In addition, I was very disappointed in the restaurant quality of food as well. You would think the high cost of food specially in the Italian restaurant would be top quality meats, and cuts. They didn’t even have a small portion for chicken Parmesan. And I was not gonna spend $320 for the veal Parmesan as apparently it serves six people when there is only two of us. The service was terrible. I was served first my food and my wife had to wait 10 minutes for her food to come out at the Italian restaurant. I would say the Asian food restaurant was very delicious and although it was difficult to get a seat, it was worth the weight. It was quite clear to my wife and I that management has overlooked several little amendments and the cost of the stay at the hotel wasall the added fees was certainly ridiculous. My wife and I have been gone to Aruba for over 20 years and we thought we were try a new spot. I must say the Bahamashotels specially the Hyatt has a down pat to pad the bill with all the additional fees. Lack of entertainment, and you can tell that they always directed you to the casino floor rather than accommodating other entertainment. I know this will probably fall on deaf years with the Hyatt in the Bahamas because of the service that we received. It was quite clearto my wife and I once again management was not doing their job in overseeing the small details that would make a resort like this exceptional.

Amazing meal at Carna! Tenika and Devon took great care of our party of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) and were very accommodating for the kids. The food was superb.
