Hotel Correntoso is truly a gem in Patagonia. The location by the lake is breathtaking – the views alone are worth the trip. The service at the hotel is professional and warm, the rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the restaurant serves delicious food. We also booked an excursion through the hotel – a boat trip and hike – which was absolutely fantastic: well-organized, beautiful nature, and an excellent guide. However, a major downside was the way the excursion was billed. We were told the price was 130 USD, but in the end, we were charged significantly more. The amount was first converted into Argentine pesos at the *MEP exchange rate* (a parallel market rate), and then re-converted into USD using the official exchange rate – which is far less favorable. Then, via my credit card, the pesos were once again converted back into USD. In practice, this meant we paid around 180 USD instead of the quoted 130 USD. This discrepancy was never communicated clearly and feels quite unfair. At a hotel of this level, you expect transparency and honest pricing, especially when it comes to extra services that are hard for international travelers to verify. In short: Correntoso is absolutely worth visiting for its comfort, location, and overall experience – but be cautious when booking additional services and make sure to ask for the *final* cost in your payment currency. Hopefully, the hotel takes this feedback seriously, as small details like this can unfortunately tarnish an otherwise unforgettable experience. --- Let me know if you'd like a more concise version too!

An excellent vacation at Correntoso Hotel. It's a combination that makes it unique and very pleasant: the quality and friendliness of the staff; Diana, the manager, is very attentive to all the details,; the views from the rooms are unparalleled; and the food and pastries are all absolutely delicious. It's also worth mentioning the cleanliness — 10 out of 10, something highly valued in hotels. Additionally, their sustainability policy is very eco-conscious. A special mention goes to the excursions: all the guides are very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend the trekking with a picnic at Brazo Machete. It's a hotel you'll want to return to again and again. Thank you to everyone at Correntoso!!

We stayed here with a Biking Tour. It was our 2nd hotel. We got room 104. No AC. Great sized bedroom with smallish bathroom, but with a great counter for toiletries. It had a toilet with bidet, robes and slippers. Not many hooks to hang any towels on, tho. No heated towel rack. Nice sized closet to hang clothes, along with a safe. Couch to set luggage on. It seemed like a King Bed ...was super comfortable , great pillows and linens. Charming patio looking over Lake Correntoso, but never got to use it, as it rained the 2 nights we were there. It sure was a great view even with the clouds. The front desk crew were super friendly and helpful with any and all questions. They did bring us a fan the first night....really helped. Wonderful spa area with pool, sauna, steam room and massage rooms and pools. The attendant at the spa desk was also very helpful. Correntoso Hotel has a cute little bar room, and lounges to meet friends at. Nice breakfast area and great OJ.

Stayed here two night and it was lovely1. Nice rooms over looking the lake and mountains. Good food and service. Breakfast room was a little small, but minor issue! Deck beside the lobby bar was wonderful for that pre-dinner cocktail! Lots of recreation all around! Kayaking at Lake Espejo was unbelievably beautiful!

Afternoon drinks with a lake view. Wonderful customer service. Good cocktails in the bar that overlooks the lake and the small river that connects two lakes. We watched fly fisherman casting and catching fish all afternoon. My friend’s son had the tallest milkshake I’ve ever seen. His eyes LIT up when he saw it. He had to stand up to drink it.
