Reviews for Jagdhof Spa Hotel

Wonderful week in the mountains.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Spent a wonderful week at the Jagdhof which exceeded all our expectations. Not only were we lucky with the weather (despite the app saying rain all week) we enjoyed delicious dinners outside with views of the mountains, it was very memorable. Arranged hotel taxi from Innsbruck €100 each way expensive but so convenient. Breakfasts offer a buffet service inside with a wide choice including cooked breakfast and some extra delicacies like chamois which was a delightful surprise and truly delicious. The main sauna in the extensive spa is run by Hannus who is totally committed to ensuring all guests enjoy themselves! The only slight comment would be having the occasional dog at the hotel and there were quite a few children but all were well behaved! The Jagdhof will appeal to the most discerning guest and holds true to traditional values. There is evidence everywhere that the owners set the bar high and are very hands on with the running of the hotel and nice to see their family photos contributing to the Alpine hunting lodge feel & ambiance. Hotel set in lovely grounds & choice of bedrooms which offer new and traditional styles. Hotel is easy to catch the bus from to the Effer lift, Wilde Wasser Weg and Innsbruck all are thoroughly recommended! Thank you to the Pfurtcheller & Jagdhof family.

Luxury, Hospitality, and Perfection in Every Detail

Our stay at this hotel in the Stubai Valley was one of the most enjoyable experiences we have ever had. We stayed for two nights, and everything from arrival to departure exceeded our expectations. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with stunning surroundings and an abundance of gorgeous flowers that create a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Every detail is carefully maintained, making the entire property feel luxurious and inviting. Dinner each evening was a world-class experience. We were treated to a fantastic six-course menu, with every dish beautifully presented and full of flavor. The waiters were knowledgeable and attentive, recommending excellent wines that paired perfectly with each course and elevated the dining experience even further. What impressed us the most was the exceptional staff. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Everyone was warm, professional, and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. They helped us with everything from arranging e-bikes to parking and charging our car. They even managed to prepare our room earlier than expected, which was greatly appreciated. Our room was fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with a large terrace where we could relax and enjoy the wonderful surroundings. The spa and relaxation areas are truly world-class. Everything is thoughtfully designed to create the perfect environment for rest, recovery, and well-being. In summary, this was without a doubt one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences we have ever had. The combination of outstanding service, exceptional food, beautiful surroundings, luxurious accommodation, and a world-class spa makes this hotel something truly special. Thank you for an unforgettable stay. We are already looking forward to returning!

A repeat visit shows the Jagdhof standards remain at the highest levels

Our fourth visit to our favourite holiday destination matched the high standards of our previous visits. The same stunning views from our balcony with the glacier looking even more magical. As usual our welcome was as friendly as ever and no hard work with our luggage as it was taken from us immediately and we were invited to have a complementary drink to celebrate our arrival. Our suite style room was of the highest Tyrolean traditions and provided quality comfort in the lounge and bedroom areas. Of course one of the highlights of a Jagdhof visit is the Restaurant and dinners were of the highest standard with a variety of different and delicious dishes every evening. Breakfasts provided the usual range of mouthwatering delights to start the day off. Restaurant staff were of the highest standard being friendly, professional and very helpful at every stage. This visit reminded us why the Spa Jagdhof Hotel remains our favourite destination for a relaxing high quality holiday surrounded by the glorious Tyrolian mountains

Very very nice place to stay.

My daughter and I visited the Jagdhof for a second time, as a destination in itself. Worth it, in short, for the first time was great. Second time felt like coming home. Everything from hardware (the hotel, the room, the amount of towels, the spa, etc. etc.; I almost forgot the food [take the half pension option!]) as well as software (staffs' attitude, atmosphere, views, things to do, even the air, etc. etc.) was at minimum very nice. Both visits. We truly recommend the place.

Fantastic hotel close to the Stubai Glacier

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

This is such a fantastic hotel. I went there for 5 days as part of a father-son late skiing trip at the end of April/ early May. Everything was perfect in the hotel from the room, to the service level throughout the hotel and the great breakfast and dinner. There was literally nothing that wasn't perfect. We had room 323 which was a very quiet room right next to the river. Value for money was overall very good with a great half board with ample of choices during the buffet breakfast and dinner.
