Second time at The Lodhi. First time was under Mr. Namby’s leadership . Words might fall awfully short to describe my stay with my husband and one year old. Nithin Nambiar made sure of an impeccable welcome, availability of the desired room and making sure the Front Desk team of Hiteshi, Vishakha, Gargi, Amisha and Sheetal were on their alert toes with the smiliest faces at all times. Wasim is a richly deserved Clefs D’or and sent us to the loveliest of parks close to the hotel - Sunder nursery. A great suggestion. Wish Wasim had superpowers to help with Delhi weather too haha. Pravesh has been very present and helpful too. Suresh ji drove us comfortably to the hotel and was always astonished at my one year old’s preference of only travelling in rickshaws, making one available for us everyday. Kalpak at Élan is a LEGEND. If I worked in your hotel, I’d only address him as ‘senior’. He’s single handedly made our everyday breakfast experience phenomenal. Do not ever let him go. Kaif, Rajat and Manav were well deserving of praise too. Deepali was prompt with all our FnB orders which we could mostly do only on WhatsApp with a sleeping baby in the room and that made life hella convenient. Our room was in expected comfort by your lovely housekeeping team. Rahul, our floor manager made sure everything was in order. Ajay ji made sure our phone was fixed immediately. I barely remember meeting any of your culinary team members but must mention the Lahsooni Palak Chilgoza was OUT OF THE PARK. We ordered it for the baby but found ourselves licking the bowl clean too. The wok fried noodles and quality of tofu were top notch. It’s been a few days we’ve been back home but we’re still dreaming of the breakfast spread where I overdosed on orange cheddar with truffle honey. Give it a go yourself. I’m 5 months pregnant and Merlyn at the spa made sure I have a massage of a lifetime. My husband’s massage by her was by far one of the best massages he’s had. Poonam in the women’s locker room made sure I was always safe on wet floors and was super attentive to a pregnant woman in her area. Sudhanshu at the pool made sure our food was timed as per our baby’s swim requests. Raghav and Naresh were the most attentive pool guards ever. Pankaj with the perfect hair himself in the salon gave me an amazing hair wash & blow dry. I hope I’ve covered everyone that made our stay memorable. Hotel my parent’s 35th anniversary dinner at Elan. The service was impeccable. Virendra ji and Armaan assisted us beautifully. The food was great too.
