The Oberoi, New Delhi

Our stay at The Oberoi, New Delhi was absolutely exceptional. The service was impeccable from start to finish, with staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. ​The rooms were pristine, beautifully designed, and offered a peaceful retreat from the city. Every amenity was top-notch, perfectly balancing modern luxury with warm, classic hospitality. It delivers a truly world-class experience—we cannot wait to return!

My wife and I spent one night at The Oberoi, along with our daughter and son in law, on the occasion of Father's day. It was a simple getaway, a few kms from home. And what a magical experience it turned out to be for us. On every count I must say. We were welcomed right at the entrance in a traditional way. At the check in, perhaps because of the occasion, our room was upgraded. The room was spacious, with the air conditioner and temperature controller working perfectly (the regulator is usually a problem with hotels). The large glass window gave a wonderful view. The bed had the right firmness and there were five or six options of pillows to choose from. The mini bar was endowed with a good variety of complimentary snacks and alcoholic beverages. The bathroom was extremely spacious and had all amenities. We had breakfast and dinner at 360 (restaurant). The breakfast spread was phenomenal in terms of variety. The food quality was excellent and our preferences were customized (eg someone wanted an egg benedict with spinach and another person with ham. All such requests were handled extremely well. We also enjoyed the late evening view of the city from the terrace. It was inspiring and heartwarming. Their pool was inviting. In fact both indoor and outdoor pools were excellent. Throughout the day, every single person was courteous, knowledgeable and went out of the way to make us comfortable. The hotel also organized a cake for the occasion of Father's Day. Every touch was deft and full of attention to details. I would rate this experience with the very best that I have had in any hotel. I do hope others can enjoy these moments of magic. I only gave one suggestion. Which is to provision something in the bathroom for senior citizens to keep their leg up on or to sit on.

The rooms were elegant and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the service was consistently warm and attentive. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome and went out of their way to ensure our family had a memorable stay. The attention to detail and personalized hospitality truly set this hotel apart. We left with wonderful memories and look forward to returning to The Oberoi, New Delhi in the future.

The Oberoi New Delhi is an exceptional hotel: Great location, high standards of service, cleanliness and high quality of accommodation and facilities. It had it all. The ethos of the Oberoi is to ensure every guest has the best experience of staying at the hotel but also of India. The staff are amazing and having stayed at hotel many times the service is consistently outstanding. I have never been disappointed.
