Experience the newly renovated Hotel de la Poste – French Quarter, A Renaissance Hotel. We've upturned expectations in the Big Easy with bold design. Guests can escape the bustle of Bourbon Street to explore the allure of the Bayou. Each design element conveys a story of its own, meticulously curated with intention to transport guests behind the hotel’s facade and immerse them in the enigmatic charm of the renowned swamplands - all within the comfort of their room. A bold navy backdrop with French-style wall moldings distinguishes the bedroom from the seating area in each guest room with an open floor plan. Touches of Sazerac orange orange – the official spirit of New Orleans – are present throughout the design, and the rooms are completed with marble coffee tables, gold hardware, soft lighting, and framed black-and-white line drawings of Jazz singers in action. Varying layers and tones blend together to create textural gumbo that seamlessly works together. With 97 luxurious, newly renovated guest rooms, you'll never want to leave. We're here for you 24/7 no matter what. Anything, just ask.

This was our first time to New Orleans and experiencing Mardi Gras. I selected this hotel based on the proximity to the popular destinations within the French quarter and the surrounding area. Furthermore, we were within a couple minutes of walking distance to bourbon street without being exposed to the noise and madness that comes with it. From the moment we arrived we felt valued as guests. Ayana always delivered on service with a smile. She always went above and beyond in how helpful she was providing insight to the area. I can’t remember the last time that a hotel over delivered on the customer experience. I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the size of the room. It was definitely roomy considering many of the properties are older. I also appreciated how quiet it was considering Mardi Gras was happening around us. Like I said before, you are close but not that close to be disrupted. The bar served good drinks and the food we had at the restaurant for breakfast and lunch was decent. There are way too many good places to eat at in the area that unfortunately for the hotel are that much better. For a quick bite and if you don’t have the time, then this location would serve a purpose. When we return this hotel will be on our must list for future stays

Stopped for drinks and a quick bite. Great service, drinks and food. Mushroom hush puppies were delicious! Brittney at the bar made us a great Old Fashioned and a delicious spicy Margarita.

Great boutique hotel with wonderful service. Came for a few days and recommend it . In the heart of everything either walking distance or a short cab ride.

Stayed here for 2 nights celebrating my husband's 50th birthday. From Valet Jared to the front desk Jasmine, Felicity & Ayana, to Red in the restaurant, to Britney at the bar to Amber the housekeeping manager. When I tell you they are like the Chick-fil-a in the hotel industry when it comes to customer service. Trust & believe they lacked nothing. Exceptional service from the time we pull in til we left. Great location , walking distance from all the popular spots. Already planning our next trip to return.

Nice hotel, comfy, LOVED having a balcony looking over sweet courtyard. Breakfast in restaurant downstairs was good. Housekeeping was a bit lacking and staff were not very friendly. But location and comfort of hotel made up for it. Would definitely stay here again.
