Reviews for Hyatt Centric French Quarter New Orleans

Needs some improvements

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Beautiful lobby and bar. Rooms were nice. Staff was wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. However a couple of things: noise at night was TERRIBLE! Motorcycles, cars driving in the street below playing loud music , sirens. These sounds even woke my husband up who sleeps through everything! Never heard such loud nightly noises in any hotel anywhere in the world. Maybe invest in some sound proofing windows? On a separate note, seriously make up mirror is a 6 “ stand up mirror on the sink?

Middle of Bourbon Street fun!

Location is amazing if you want to be right in the middle of Bourbon street - seek a higher room if you don't want the noise late at night.

Centrally Located!

Excellent location in the French Quarter. Within walking distance to many main attractions. Rooms were spacious and clean. Super close to airport and cruise terminal. Great place to stay after/before a cruise and to explore the area in a day.

Great Staff and Perfect Location at Hyatt Centric French Quarter New Orleans, but the Property Needs Refreshing

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Our stay was right in the heart of the French Quarter, which made the location absolutely ideal for exploring the city. If I were rating this hotel based solely on the staff, it would easily receive 5+ stars. Every team member we encountered was exceptionally hospitable, professional, and impressively efficient. Their customer service truly stood out and made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. That said, the property itself is in serious need of renovations. While the hotel was clean overall, many of the room features showed significant wear and tear. The toilet, bathtub, and carpeting were all noticeably outdated and worn, which took away from the overall experience. With some much-needed updates and improvements, this hotel could truly match the quality of its outstanding staff and prime location.
