Hyatt Centric French Quarter New Orleans

Hyatt Centric French Quarter is a great hotel located right off Bourbon Street. The location was perfect…all the excitement, music, restaurants and convenience of being in the action, yet you can easily return to the hotel for rest and AC. The hotel bar and bartenders were lovely. The small food counter in the lobby was convenient and the women working there provided quick service in a friendly, unrushed way. The hotel was clean, housekeeping was great, and the pool and patio areas were nice. Pool bar was not open as it had already closed for the season which was a bummer given the number of people using the pool during our visit (most ppl brought cocktails up from the lobby bar it seemed). Our room AC was not working well the night we checked in however since it was late we waited until morning to notify staff. Within minutes of that notification, maintenance was in our room and working to correct the issue. It was fixed probably with 20 mins and Marcus from maintenance gave us bar coupons for the inconvenience. The valets were so friendly and polite. There is a $50 parking fee per night which we were unaware of but it does seem comparable to other local hotels. Overall, everyone we encountered at the hotel was helpful and friendly. We all agreed that we would stay here again.

Oh my gosh, this was some of the best hotel service I’ve had in a very long time. I visited New Orleans a few years ago and stayed at a different hotel, but after my experience at the Hyatt, this will absolutely be my go to hotel from now on. From the moment you walk through the doors, everyone is welcoming, friendly, and genuinely seems happy to help. Jabari was wonderful, he noticed us looking a little lost in the lobby and immediately checked in to see if we needed anything. I also had a credit card benefit that included two complimentary breakfasts, which unfortunately was not automatically removed from my bill. However, Ellie at the front desk corrected it immediately, and I truly appreciated how quickly she handled it. The breakfast was delicious! I had the chicken and waffles as well as the shrimp and grits, and honestly, the food was better than at some of the restaurants we tried outside the hotel. The complimentary Jazzy Pass and the various discounts available through the property and my Amex card were great added perks. The location is perfect, it’s within walking distance of so much, and a streetcar stop is less than 500 feet from the hotel, making it easy to get anywhere. My suite was huge, and the doors opened onto a beautiful outdoor patio space. I loved my stay from beginning to end and cannot wait to return.

I stayed at the Hyatt Centric French Quarter for an annual conference and it did not disappoint! The staff was very attentive and always smiling, willing to help with anything. The food prepared by the hotel was delicious. The very kind woman who checked me in kept me informed on the status of my room and sent me a text as soon as it was ready. The proximity to the French Quarter, specifically Bourbon Street, is perfect. So many great restaurants and attractions are within walking distance. Red Fish Grill attached is also an amazing restaurant. I look forward to our conference at the Hyatt Centric every year!

Great hotel! Lovely and clean, very helpful staff and good to have the bonus of the continental breakfast vouchers! It’s in a great location for the French quarter

Nice and clean hotel with good customer service and an excellent bar. Perfectly located in the French Quarter. Pool is nice too.
