A most pleasant stay
We were booked elsewhere and relocated to the Hyatt Centric due to the other location’s overbooking. We’d like to say that this ended up for the best as the Hyatt Centric gave us the most amazing experience we could have asked for. From the very start, they were smiling, welcoming, so polite and accommodating - even when our booking had been dumped on them so they really did not have to be! We felt very well looked after from the start to the very end. Nothing was too much to ask and every little detail is attended to. Thank you to all the amazing staff for giving us such a lovely time on our trip! We’d also like to specifically thank the GM Craig M. for his professionalism in turning a negative situation into a very positive experience.

Clean, Quiet and Peaceful
The hotel was clean and peaceful. I mean quiet from everything that was going on in the streets of New Orleans. The bed was comfortable and rocked my to sleep early. I thought a missed my show.😁 For the price your get to complimentary drinks from the bar which was welcoming and a $10 credit for the coffee bar. I paid for a balcony and they gave me a room in New Orleans overlooking the center court pool. And it’s a shared balcony.👎🏽Now that was the only flaw. The staff were very welcoming, from the door to the front desk and the bar staff.

Great place for a New Orleans getaway
Had a short conference in New Orleans, yes please!!! Hotel had a great historic decor, perfect location, excellent bars and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay there again, especially if I wanted to stay closer to Canal, Garden District.

Excellent Mardi Gras location
Excellent location for Mardi Gras as you are one block off of Canal, and right on the French Quarter. Great security and a very nice lobby with breakfast lunch and dinner available. The rooms are more than accommodating, and all the services are thought out. definitely would recommend staying there if you were looking for a prime location within walking distance of the French Quarter and the river walk.

Loved the Centric and its location
Wonderful day at the Hyatt Centric, Perfect location for Mardi Gras! Try and get room 418 or 420, they have windows that overlook Canal Street and give an excellent view of the parade.
