Comfortable, classy, & close to everything! Would recommend to everyone! My stay was wonderful. Also the elevators were very clean and fast, never had to wait!

As a solo female traveler, I felt so safe and welcome. It was the best stay ever, and i highly recommended everyone to choose the international house hotel. The front desk was the nicest.

Yes, several. The front desk staff was largely unhelpful and rude. I understand working in the service industry is exceedingly difficult, but it was very clear to me they were exhausted, overworked, and understaffed and did not want to be bothered. Every question and request was met with a blank, irritated stare just shy of an eye roll. Far from the warm and welcoming New Orleans hospitality I am used to receiving. I am disabled and have a very limited diet, so I brought a few safe foods to eat. As soon as I arrived in my room, I noticed there was an issue with the refrigerator in my room. Upon inspection, it was overheating and frozen over; it was lightly cool to the touch but definitely not food-safe cold. I told the front desk, and they said they had an engineer look at it while I was gone, but it was in the same condition when I returned. So I had to throw out my food. The carpet in the room was also noticeably filthy, and the bathroom wasn't much better. Before checkout, I asked if I could get some help with my bags. I was told someone would be sent up. About 15 minutes later, someone called to do my wake-up call, and I said thank you and asked if they knew if someone would be up soon to help me with my bags. That employee told me that wasn't her department and hung up. After waiting for 30+ minutes, I was told no one was available and that I would have to do it myself. Ironically, I was in town for a hospitality conference to give a presentation about providing excellent customer service. I was excited to stay here, as I've visited the art gallery and Loa bar several times on previous trips to New Orleans. I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Such a shame considering how beautiful it is.

If you like a boutique hotel, this is fine. The staff was great. The rooms were clean, but they charge $60 for nonexistent amenities. You get one set of towels, a super cheap refrigerator that barely works, a bathroom vanity not meant for a woman, the worst coffee and no concession area to even buy water.

had a great time. The staff was great and very good location. I was very happy and will book again there. I slept like a baby because the beds were comfortable
