Had a great time during stay mostly attributed to the excellent staff. Specifically, Richard was very nice and helpful. Layla (might have name wrong) was also amazing; she gave us amazing recommendations to some local restaurants.

The hotel is in a good location. Close to Canal St but far away from the noise. Rooms are very big with a sitting area. Nice lobby with 2 bars. The rooftop pool is nice. Now for the negatives: - housekeeping is every other day, unless you request on the day for your room to be refreshed; - housekeeping is VERY noisy in the corridor with a lot of slamming, banging, loud talking for hours, from the morning till the late afternoon! - housekeeping is very sketchy and unpredictable - I had an empty tissue box for my whole 3-night stay; one day there's one coffee cup and the next day, there are 2; your coffee pods may not always be replaced, same with your soap, bottles of water, cotton buds and hand towels 😂; - the staff at the Public Service bar are more interested in talking amongst themselves than serving you; - on check-in, I wasn't provided any welcome drink vouchers. Overall, this could be an amazing hotel that's let down significantly by housekeeping and the staff. Do yourself a favour and book The Roosevelt up the road, especially if you're a Hilton Honors member given that it's a Waldorf Astoria hotel.

We are planning to stay at NOPSI for our daughter's Tulane graduation this May 14-17 2026. I called to confirm our reservation and Sean A. McClarty, the front house supervisor was incredibly helpful. Not only was he able to confirm our reservation details, but he also provided several restaurant recommendations. This is a big event for our family and it means so much to find a hotel representative that takes the extra time and care to provide personal assistance. We are greatly looking forward to our stay at NOPSI!!
