Virgin Hotels New Orleans

Absolutely loved this hotel - we did 6 hotels over 3 weeks as part of a “Deep South” trip - virgin NOLA was our last stop - and our favourite. The hotel had such a cool vibe - really unique. The rooms were absolutely fantastic and the best mini bar I’d ever seen! Location was perfect and rooftop pool was lovely.

Latrell was so energetic and friendly which makes all the difference when visiting a hotel for the first time. The place is definitely quirky but still elegant for a cute stay in New Orleans.

We had the absolute pleasure of being cared for by Laterell and Jaheim during our stay at the Virgin Hotel in New Orleans, and they were beyond amazing. Their hospitality went above and beyond every expectation — not only were they professional, but also incredibly warm, sweet, and genuinely caring. They made us feel so welcome and valued throughout our stay, turning a great trip into an unforgettable experience. People like Laterell and Jaheim are exactly what makes a hotel stand out. Virgin Hotels New Orleans is easily one of the best stays we’ve had. The place itself is stunning—modern but warm, with that little spark of personality you only get from Virgin. Our room was huge, spotless, and beautifully designed, with every detail thought through. What really made the stay special was how attentive the staff were. They noticed it was my wife’s birthday and went out of their way to make it memorable—small touches that made us feel genuinely cared for. Between the design, comfort, and service, this hotel is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans.

Was coming into town for the hozier concert and found this hotel on trip advisor. Chose it due to the walkability of the location, and the pool. Another bonus was the way that the rooms are divided between a dressing parlor/bathroom area and the sleeping chamber. Arrived a few hours before check in and wanted to drop our bags so we could explore the city before check in. Upon arrival to the front of the hotel, the doormen were helpful with our bags and opening the door for us and directing us to the front desk. The front desk setup here is smaller and not completely traditional but they were able to hold our bags in the back and block a room for us to be rushed by housekeeping. Wesley was extremely helpful with this process along with our eventual check in, as was his coworker. They gave us recommendations on food, places to explore, and tours, and took our number down to text us when our room was ready. As we were leaving, the doorman that helped us with our bags gave us further suggestions for food and exploration. A few hours later we received a text that our room was ready and went to check in, checkin was smooth and a small issue with my room being double charged was quickly rectified. The same great service was evident throughout our stay, with the staff greeting us warmly whenever they saw us. The rooftop pool and lounge area were very nice, providing a great panoramic view of New Orleans, my only gripe was that the pool closes around 7pm, but there was so much to do in the city that we barely missed it. If you decline daily turndown service you also get a daily $15 credit for the minibar which was a nice touch. All around a great spot and would stay here again on my next trip to New Orleans due to the amazing staff and great facilities. Also make sure to try the hot dogs at the rooftop bar, they're banging! One final note, the young man who gave us a late check out was extremely helpful as well and such a friendly and bright person! Unfortunately I didn't get his name for the review but I would like to acknowledge him nonetheless.
