Virgin Hotels New Orleans

This was out 1st time staying with Virgin Hotels and it will not be our last. Rates in New Orleans were above average for Halloween night, we were able to get a very reasonable rate for Virgin from a 3rd party site. I decided to go with Virgin after researching the hotels and airbnbs in the area for at least 2 hours, and determined for the price Virgin was the best deal for the updates. The whole hotel is modern and updated, the rooftop pool and lounge is spectacular, the staff is exuberant. We are not looking at Virgin in other cities and even their cruise line. A 4star hotel in my opinion for an excellent rate.

OMG Just checked into this hotel, Beautiful rooms, however I asked for more hangers only 8 in the room we are here for a few days for a wedding and have a lot of clothes , can only have 8 more ! REALLY THERE ARE TWO OF US!! GO OUT FOR A MEAL, COME BACK AND AT 10.40 NEW ORLEANS TIME, 8.40 OUR TIME WE ASK FOR WINE GLASSES! No chance the bar is closed, we have been given a bottle of champagne for our room from relatives, unfortunately we are told the bar is closed so tough cookie we cannot have any wine glasses! This is a celebration after all, to no avail! THIS IS A HOTEL, A VIRGIN HOTEL, WHO ARE THEY CATERING FOR! SURELY NEW ORLEANS IS A 24HR CITY NOT 9-5PM

We dropped by for a nightcap at the rooftop bar and so glad we did. The view here is beautiful and the seating super comfortable. The bartender, Dwayne, was very nice and served us up well. My wife had a Chardonnay and I couldn’t decide on what to enjoy. I had a vodka based drink earlier and ask him for a suggestion. He said he had me covered and mixed up the best cocktail we’ll now name “The Dwayne”. A selection of juices mixed in with a mildly sweet finish. My wife said if she had ordered that she would get in serious trouble. Haha. If you’re in NOLA don’t miss Dwayne at the Virgin roof top bar. You won’t regret it!

Stayed 2 nights for the Saints/Giants game. We enjoyed our stay. My grandson is 9 and loves swimming so we went tk the pool on the rooftop, he enjoyed. A BIG THANKS to Lattrell for guiding us on places to eat. Latrell was professional and VERY HELPFUL during our stay. Our room was comfortable and i would stay here again.

Very friendly staff! Especially recommend Latrell Eleanor — he’s super funny and made our stay even more enjoyable. Really appreciated his great sense of humor and warm service!
