This place is always top-notch. From the second you get out of your car to the second you leave to go back home, they are professional and friendly and clean and classy, and everything you could look for in a hotel. And the club level with its perks are second to none!

The location is great. Easy walk to French Quarter, river, and most major sites. The hotel entrance is gorgeous and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay, we had an issue with sink drainage and hot water in the shower which was fixed immediately when we informed the front desk. The hotel is older and historic which definitely adds to the charm and it’s a very New Orleans feel. The rooms are a little dated but still very comfortable and roomy. We had a king suite which had a lovely river view and lots of space. The only recommendation I have for the hotel is to update the rooms to be more modern. Or at least replace carpet with wood floors. Housekeeping was great annd made us feel special. Generally our stay was wonderful. We loved the bar and the live music and all staff members at the hotel were very helpful and kind and friendly.

The facility was great. The room was very nice, large and comfortable. We were there for a conference and the meeting room was a freezer. The organizer asked that the temperature be increased but to no avail. The food from room service was terrible and the food served at the conference was well below banquet quality. You would never know you were in New Orleans from the food served by hotel. In New Orleans food is excellent even at a hole in the wall joint. For an upscale New Orleans hotel, the food was very subpar.

The Windson is an absolutely lovely hotel with the best service and a great location in New Orleans. Walking distance to a lot! We've stayed here 3 times and will continue to book with them. I recommend this hotel.
