AKA Central Park

Couldn't have asked for a better location from which to explore New York. The hotel is one street away from Central Park and there's a Subway station and bus stops nearby. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and very spacious for New York, as well as quiet despite the noise outside. The staff also couldn't have been more helpful and when we did have an issue in one of the rooms, it was dealt with incredibly quickly and professionally. The cooking facilities worked well and the large fridge is perfect for longer stays. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Super nice! Fits needs for business travel. Has a gym, theater, and a breakfast spot attached to lobby that was convenient. Steps from Centralpark.

Our trip to New York wouldn’t have felt complete without our stay at AKA Central Park. The location of the residence made so many spontaneous, last-minute plans wonderfully easy—whether it was stepping out for a walk, a meal, or an unexpected discovery in the city. We stayed at the residence for a couple of weeks, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The room sizes were unbelievably spacious by Manhattan standards, which made our extended stay truly comfortable. The property was always immaculately clean, and the on-site laundry facilities were a huge convenience during our two-week stay. What truly made our experience special was the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Everyone was consistently welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind. A heartfelt thank you to Sara, Hyacinth, Hommy, Miguel, Flavio, Hugo, Sheridan, Indian, Romel, and Carlos for making us feel so at home throughout our stay. We left with wonderful memories and would absolutely look to stay at AKA properties again in other parts of the world. From arrival to departure AKA was ideal for us. So near Central Park, 5th Avenue shopping, art galleries, Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Centre, theatres. The accommodation couldn’t have been better - roomy, with excellent service from front desk as well, plus a cafe and gym. I highly recommend AKA Central Park.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Right next door, workers are demolishing a multi-story building involving jackhammers and heavy equipment, accompanied by the sound of dropped steel girders and panels. The ethically challenged management intentionally concealed this, despite a call I made to the hotel months in advance, explicitly asking if there was such construction. It is a multi-year project, to be followed by the erection of an enormous new building with hotel and residential space. More LOUD construction disruption. Forget sleep, forget peace of mind between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. DO NOT STAY HERE!!
