Aliz Hotel Times Square

Stayed here for what we thought was only going to be 3 nights. When the blizzard hit we got stranded in nyc for an extra 4 nights. The staff on the front desk went above and beyond to help. Nothing was too much effort. Cleaning staff always gave us a laugh when we returned with arranging all our girls teddy’s on the beds made it look like they were partying.i cannot recommend this hotel enough, really clean, great location and the absolute best staff. Do not even think twice about booking

We stayed here in March on a sister trip to NYC. I was a little nervous after reading some negative reviews but dont be worried the hotel is perfect! All staff we lovely except for one lady at the lobby bar but maybe she was having a bad day! The reception staff were lovely and welcoming. We had out $150 security deposit refunded within 24hrs of checkout. We never had to queue for the elevator. The rooms were on the small side for 3 adults but we managed fine we rarely spent time in the room only at night for sleeping. Great locations for transport. Very clean hotel.

We booked a 5 nights break to New York staying at the Aliz in one their Deluxe rooms on the 31st floor. We arrived at the hotel late afternoon where we greeted by friendly and helpful staff who were able to book in straight away. We were provided with a drink token each which we could use at the bar and a $25 credit to use in the hotel restaurant or lobby bar which is such a nice gesture. Let me just say the location is perfect if you want to be close to Time Square and in the heart of New York city and its walking distance to Penn station and Grand Central Station. As a party of 4 we booked 2 rooms and I must admit the rooms were smaller than expected, with barely enough space for 2 suitcases. The room itself was very clean with a great view, it has a min fridge which is stocked daily with fresh water bottles. The bed was comfortable to sleep in but the pillows were hard and extremely uncomfortable but that may be down to preference as a side sleeper i prefer a softer pillow. Bathroom was very clean but even with the shower door closed there was always water spilling over onto the bathroom floor. We did have a problem regulating the heating in the room as it seems like once it reaches a set temperature the air cooling unit would automatically switch on and made the noisiest sounds I have ever heard. Housekeeping done a very good job attending daily to make up the beds and replenish toiletry and towels were changed on request. Due to the snow blizzard our flight home was cancelled and we ended up staying an extra 3 days at the hotel and the I must admit the staff were so accommodating which made our stay comfortable, can't wait to return but maybe during the summer months.

Great stay as the hotel is as pictured on site. The room itself was expertly cleaned as when I conducted my normal Clorox wipe down I didn’t uncover any discrepancies. The elevators are a little slow but it was also super busy as they had an event and there was a concert at Madison Square Garden. Overall, great stay and I would definitely stay again and recommend. One con…they need to collaborate with other owners on the street to keep it clean. Additionally, my stay came with two welcome drink tickets, and the staff was phenomenal, even remembered my name as I returned from dinner. Breakfast buffet was good and staff are very professional and accommodating.

Had a lovely experience here at the aliz hotel ! Staff were very helpful and polite. I would like to give a special message to Zak who works there absolutely fantastic. Being someone who is petrified of lifts and sometime would much prefer to walk the stairs he was always happy to take me up in the lift no trouble at all.the restaraunt is lovely I'd say a little too pricey but still very nice . We had a fanstaic view walking up the empire state building absolutely unreal. The hotel is situated I'd say close to everything and if needed the hotel will organise transfer back to the airport . Just one or two things that possibly can be rectified in the future lowering prices in the restaurant and not having to pay €250 dollars when getting to the hotel .they then told us we would receive!€150 dollars back in 21 days this was for the service charge. Rooms immaculate lovely and clean
