Our stay at Aman New York was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm and professional service that made us feel incredibly special. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a luxurious and peaceful atmosphere that feels like a true escape in the heart of New York City. The rooms were stunning, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail carefully considered. The staff was attentive, kind, and always willing to help, making sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. What impressed us the most was the combination of luxury, privacy, and exceptional service. Even though you are in the middle of Manhattan, the hotel feels calm and relaxing. Every part of our experience was special, and we truly enjoyed our time there. Thank you to the entire team at Aman New York for making our stay so memorable. We look forward to coming back again.

Aman's only Manhattan outpost occupies Warren & Wetmore's 1921 Crown Building, and the brand has done something genuinely difficult: it has made midtown go silent. The acoustic engineering here is the best I've encountered in any city hotel. Jean-Michel Gathy's interiors run dark and tactile, lit at near-candlelight, and the 83 suites are absurdly large by New York standards, each with a working fireplace you will actually use. The three-floor spa earns its reputation. The 65-foot pool, the Banya and Hammam in the private Spa Houses, the cold plunge terraces: resort-grade wellness stacked vertically above Fifth Avenue. Hardware that is close to flawless, hospitality that occasionally forgets itself. A remarkable place to disappear for three days.

The property itself is beautiful, and the room was very comfortable. The design, atmosphere, and overall setting are exceptional and reflect what draws guests to Aman in the first place. We chose Aman New York to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, so the stay was especially meaningful to us. Unfortunately, the checkout experience fell well below the otherwise high standard of the property. There was billing confusion at departure, and at the same time an unexpected flooding issue in the lobby created a chaotic and uncomfortable situation for our family. What should have been a smooth and celebratory send-off became unnecessarily stressful. I followed up afterward with a detailed email and did not receive a response, which was disappointing given the brand’s reputation for attentiveness. Greater internal coordination and more responsive follow-up would help ensure the departure experience reflects the level of care Aman is known for.
