Infused with the core elements of the Arlo Hotels brand, Arlo NoMad provides world-class tech-integrated service, function-centric layouts, and locally inspired design and amenities. The hotel has boutique-style micro-rooms, that are organized by Sky, City, Urban, and Terrace, which has a private, furnished outdoor terrace. The rooms offer city views that you can rarely find elsewhere, it literally feels like you’re sleeping on air. The hotel's three studios with high-back leather chairs and communal ergonomic seating can be used for meetings and events. The lobby, the restaurant MASSONI and bar BARlo are highly enjoyed by guests due to their impeccable and unique design. The Heights is the hotel’s rooftop bar, boasting views of the Empire State Building.

We arrived around 11am in the hotel and were able to check-in early. They had also upgraded us to a room with a nicer view which was so nice to start our trip. The rooms, as expected for nyc, are small but truly have everything you might need. My pro tip here would be to make sure you're comfortable with your travel partner as the bathroom is not noise cancelling & a little seethrough. The AC was great, the views lovely, great shower, there's 2 bottles of water in the room (read: they charge you a urban fee for these anyway so might aswell drink them), and the staff was attentive and very professional. Our biggest let down was the elevators - as only one elevator was working the duration of our trip. Which resulted in us having to wait up to 20 minutes sometimes for the elevator to come. There was also no real explanation as to why the other elevators didn't work. Nevertheless I'd recommend the Arlo Nomad NYC & I'd love to stay again in the future.

Yes, the pillows are fluffy. Yes, you can get a comfortable night sleep. Yes, the diner is great with amazing food. Yes, it has a beautiful look and ambiance. But the best thing about the his place is the staff. They create this magical atmosphere. From the GM all the way to housekeeping, the staff is stellar. They are friendly, caring, attentive, they anticipate needs and just make you feel like family. This will be my go to for all my NYC business trips.

Arlo NoMad has become my go-to hotel whenever I’m in New York—whether it’s for business or a weekend of shows and restaurants. I stay a few times a year and always have a great experience. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, with friendly staff who genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. The design is smart and efficient—modern, minimal, and well thought out. Rooms are compact (this is NYC, after all) but laid out in a way that makes them feel open and functional. The floor-to-ceiling windows don’t hurt either—waking up to city views is a treat. I also appreciate the communal spaces—comfortable, stylish, and perfect for catching up on work or unwinding with a drink. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you can be productive *or* on vacation. The location is excellent—central enough to be convenient to everything, but quiet enough that you can get a good night’s sleep. That balance is hard to find in Midtown. Highly recommend if you're looking for a hotel that combines thoughtful design, great service, and a truly enjoyable atmosphere.

Okay, I have a two hotels I go between for work trips: Hotel Arlo and another. However, I stupidly booked a work trip at a place I’d never stayed. When I arrived during 100 degree heatwave—-my AC was broken! After hours of waiting I went running to Arlo. When I got there (dripping in sweat and on on the verge of tears), Jamilah and Breà at the front desk changed my mood within minutes. They were bright, empathetic, kind, and so so welcoming. I’m writing this review from a perfectly chilled room eating a fortune cooking. Life is good.
