Conrad New York Downtown

The Conrad downtown is our favorite hotel in NYC! The location is in a quiet area overlooking the Hudson River and next to Battery Park. It is modern and beautiful. The people who work here are nice and accommodating. The Hotel Manager, Mr. Nicola is gracious and went out of his way to introduce himself. Angie who works as the hostess for breakfast was always so pleasant, greeted us by our names each morning and went out of her way to be kind. The suites are large, modern, elegant with comfortable beds and furniture. We have stayed here many times and plan to keep coming back.

This is without a doubt, an oasis in the chaotic New York scene. The location is ideal for those doing business in downtown Manhattan, but given its proximity to so many attractions and historic sites, you wont be disappointed using this hotel as your vacation base. It was extremely easy to walk to so many attractions from this location. The room we were assigned was ideally located to take advantage of the views the property has to offer. The cleanliness of the room cannot be overstated either. We were starting our anniversary celebrations and this hotel really had us off to a wonderful start. We had breakfast at the Atrio and the eggs benny was really delish. Recognition of our Diamond status was icing on the cake and we had so many pleasant encounters with staff from the moment we arrived to when we checked out. Thank you Conrad New York!

We had a fabulous stay Sept 21-23, 2025. The property is very well maintained. The location was perfect for us. It is adjacent to wonderful walking park areas along the Hudson and very close to the World Trade Center Memorial. The unique half acre Irish Hunger Memorial park is right across the street and worth a visit. There is a segment of the Berlin Wall nearby. We enjoyed the on property Atrio Restaurant and bar, and Leonessa on the 16th floor has a great atmosphere. What made the stay spectacular was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was professional, welcoming, and engaged. I have to especially thank Sandria (and hope that my memory of her name was correctly) who welcomed us at the Front Desk and went far above and beyond making our special occasion stay particularly special. We were in New York to mark my 70th birthday. Women "of a certain age", particularly those no longer active in the business world seem to become increasingly "invisible" over time. Not the case at the Conrad! I was both "seen" and incredibly welcomed! It had been a stressful time and I was quite affected by Sandria's welcome and care. I had read reviews reporting a variety of experiences at the Conrad. We found the rooms spacious and in good shape. The property is well maintained. Staff, again, were fabulous. It is clearly a well run property whose staff enjoy working there. I highly recommend the Conrad.

Very comfortable and new hotel, with spacious rooms, very well appointed, and high end touches and amenities. Would definitely return if I need to be downtown again.

The experience at Conrad New York was absolutely fabulous! Every detail exceeded our expectations, and all our wishes were perfectly fulfilled thanks to the outstanding assistance of the wonderful concierge, Stephanie M. Her attentiveness made our stay truly special. In addition, the Tunnel 2 Tower run event was a great success, and the hotel provided the perfect home base for the occasion. Highly recommended!
