Reviews for The Dominick Hotel

An awesome week

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

We had no idea how good the location was until we arrived. The Dominick is located close to some seriously good restaurants and shopping. Our bedroom was on the 38th floor and the views were incredible - we were facing east, so could see the Empire State Building to the North across to the Brooklyn Bridge in the South. Whilst it might seem expensive, selecting a room on the upper floor was worth every penny. The bedroom was generous, we had an incredible comfortable bed, and the towels were thick and soft. Everything about the experience was amazing from the Diptyque scented candles in reception to the selection of drinks and snacks available in the bedroom. The hotel staff were helpful and polite - the concierge’s recommendations were flawless. This hotel made our week and we probably wouldn’t stay anywhere else

dirty hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

The hotel is dirty and dusty (see the pic). This pic was taken after I asked for a cleaning for three days. They never dusted. So if you're allergic like me, stay away from this fake 5-star hotel. I showed these videos to the manager, who offered to waive a non-existent tax that wasn't included in the bill... The next day, they charged me $58.79 for items I never used from the minibar... I'll never return to this squalid place again.

Best of NYC in Soho

Our “go to” hotel in NYC. Feels Like home! Love the staff and especially, Merick, the door man! Can’t beat location and amenities. Room sizes are generous too which is hard to find! Can’t imagine staying anywhere else!

Exceptionally clean, modern, comfortable and luxurious hotel and room. Fantastic views of the iconic NYC and Hudson River. Really comfortable bed, and great shower. The front desk staff and housekeeping were great.
