A Lower Manhattan original, Gild Hall is a place of character and comfort that runs deep, just off the bustle of Wall Street, One World Trade and the Seaport District. Our boutique hotel endures as a neighborhood cornerstone and showcase for the design aesthetic of Jim Walrod and the photography of Slim Aarons, two American originals themselves. Relax in our library lounge and enjoy rustic Tuscan fare at Felice Ristorante, a cozy local haunt. Explore the cobblestone-lined downtown streets, then indulge in the bespoke comfort of our guest rooms where rich wood, leather furnishings and brass accents anchor the soothing, neutral palette. Jim Walrod-designed tufted leather headboards, custom SFERRA linens and locally crafted bath amenities add a level of understated, appreciated luxury. At Gild Hall, luxury and hospitality welcome you on an intimate, honest scale.

Nice hotel in a good location. Perfect access to get to subway to go anywhere in the city and 10-15 ride from and to Penn-Station. Very friendly staff who are willing to help you with whatever you need. Rooms were clean and a good size. I would stay here again.

Hotel is small and cozy, mid century design, solid breakfast (though limited Globalist menu) - upgraded to a suite. Friendly staff, easy public transit. Normally don't stay down here but really lovely.

We enjoyed our stay at The Gild. Its location in the Financial District was perfect for us as it was a little more quiet than staying more central. There were lots of restaurants within walking and close metro stations. The hotel itself is well kept and clean. Hot showers and comfortable beds and quite spacious rooms for NYC. The check-in staff were always welcoming and upbeat. My only frustration was the small size of the water bottles they give you. It is nice that they are free and you can have as many as you wish, but they are so small and seem a waste of plastic. A water bottle filling station would be a great addition.

The well-appointed and spotless room was only trumped by the service. This staff is awesome, and this has become our favorite downtown hotel.

Fabulous boutique hotel in great FIDI location. Near FedReserve & NYSE, easy subway access. Don’t miss TrinityChurch & the cemetery next to it. Everyone has been a delight at this hotel!! Elizabeth & Pam at check in. Henry & Denise at the onsite restaurant Felice. Food was fabulous—-breakfast & I also had lunch at the bar solo first day. I’ve been to Felice Columbus location. They’re all good; But the personal service here stood out to me. Hyatt has upped their game with these Boutique, typically architecturally significant hotels. I’ll be back for sure!
