Relax in our library lounge and enjoy rustic Tuscan fare at Felice Ristorante, a cozy local haunt. Explore the cobblestone-lined downtown streets, then indulge in the bespoke comfort of our guest rooms where rich wood, leather furnishings and brass accents anchor the soothing, neutral palette. Best hotel experience across all my trips to New York. From the friendliness of the staff, to the size and ambience of the room, comfort of the bed and seats, to the quality included breakfast at the embedded Felice restaurant.

It was a busy time, and the hotel looked very full, but the staff worked efficiently to satisfy every client. Rooms are spacious by NY standards, and are clean and tidy. Breakfast was good (one should make reservations to avoid a long wait). The Gym(s) was tiny (two tiny rooms on two floors) but functional. The friendliness of the staff left us with a lasting impression.

What a fantastic boutique hotel ! It exceeded my expectations and more. From the friendliest staff, to the beautiful rooms, the cleanliness, and the overall ambiance.

Stayed here before Christmas Day to bring daughter to NYC for first time. Hotel is in a great location for family as FiDi is not as crowded and hectic as other parts of Manhattan. Hotel was close to a lot of restaurants, within a short 10 min walk to subway, and close to Battery Park. Decor is dark and masculine for some people but I enjoyed it. Also like the free prosecco at check-in. Would stay here again.

Overall liked many things about this hotel but there were a lot of issues. Checked in online and stated arrival would be 2 pm. Arrived nearly at 3 and were told room wasn't ready but would be in 5 min. It was actually not ready until 4. The front desk is small and gets really crowded and while there is a sign for world of Hyatt check in, it usually wasn't functional. Staff were very nice and friendly though. Booked one bedroom suite which was good sized and comfortable. Water pressure in shower was very poor. Molton Brown bath products are great. The gym is pathetic, so they offer pass to Crunch. We had 2 issues with this-first was that they were out of passes and we were told to just show our room key at Crunch and Crunch didn't like this idea. Second only one pass or person per stay and we were there 4 nights. The restaurant was overall pretty terrible. Had to reserve a table for breakfast or wait quite a while. Small restaurant with what looks like a lot of staff but always seemed to be in the weeds- all very nice though. Globalist breakfast is a limited menu with smaller portions than the regular menu. Bad idea. A good breakfast is one of the reasons I stayed 75 nights with Hyatt this year so if this becomes a trend in other Hyatts, I'll start staying at other hotels and do more 3rd party booking. Housekeeping was great and again very friendly.
