In Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood, a historic and revered structure has been transformed into what is now The High Line Hotel. The majestic cathedrals and manicured grounds of this coveted place make the hotel decidedly unique, and create a space that is both serene and stylish at once, all within the bustle of one of the world's biggest cities. From its Parisian-style courtyard entrance and beautiful gardens, to the centuries-old brick façades of the buildings, The High Line Hotel is remarkable in every way. Despite its ability to echo an era of years past, the hotel is thoroughly modern in its amenities and design, from the spacious guest rooms that are expertly furnished with antique pieces and art, to the Intelligentsia coffee bar and counter-less check-in via tablets. Rooms are designed with expertise and care, each outfitted with complimentary wireless Internet access, high definition television, plush bathrobes, and luxury bedding. Evoke the elegance of past time and place, all the while in a cutting-edge urban center, at The High Line Hotel.

Lovely building, location superb, and spacious rooms. Very nice bones to the hotel that is difficult to find in NYC. Service is barebones - efficient but very minimal. Lack of comfortable public spaces for meetings or work, and no free coffee (a black coffee downstairs will run you ~$7) is a real mark against the overall feeling of being welcome and at home vs "a place to crash for the night. If you can find this hotel in the $300s or possibly low $400s/night then it represents good value and you'll really enjoy your stay in a lovely building and very nice room. Much more than that and I say you risk feeling a bit ripped off.

Spacious rooms, if you select king. good rates for long stay. Excellent location close to Chelsea markets, Chelsea Pier, Whitney Museum, good eateries. Can get noisy if they have road works, but this is beyond the control of both guest and hotel. Highly recommended

The hotel has a lot of charm and is incredibly well-located. My room on the second floor was lovely and spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. Despite the usual New York street noise, I actually slept really well. I also loved the complimentary day pass to Chelsea Piers—such a nice touch. And as a dog owner, I really appreciated how warmly the hotel welcomes not just travelers, but also New Yorkers with pups. That said, a few things could be improved. The building is very old, and the rooms would definitely benefit from some cosmetic updates. Soundproofing the windows would make a huge difference, especially with a major avenue right outside that's constantly buzzing. It was also disappointing that the bikes advertised by the hotel weren’t available, especially during such beautiful spring weather. The Intelligentsia café in the lobby, while a nice addition, is tiny and often crowded with people just passing through. The bar service was painfully slow, and meals were served in plastic takeout containers, which felt out of place for a hotel in this price range. Overall, I had a pleasant stay, but at $500 per night (after taxes and fees), the experience didn’t quite live up to the price tag.

Very cozy hotel room, spacious and comfy beds if you like them super soft. Room smelled a little old, but that' sbecause it is. That said, it was pretty clean, just bring your own room freshner if you're sensitive to smells. Christian was there to check me out and in and is the kindest most sincere person. I felt incredibly safe and he's so helpful!

Great location and great staff. Our room was a few doors away from the bar and it was very noisy. Also, we felt subway noises all night.
