Save your money and go to any other Hyatt property. If it wasn’t for being a cheap weekend in January I would have given less stars. Do not pay more than $200 a night for this. 25k points a night is a waste. No idea how this is a category 6 property. The worse Hyatt room I’ve been in. The good: hotel lobby and staff are good. The bar drinks were great and even though we didn’t use the fitness center or restaurants they seemed very nice. The bad: the room. Terribly furnished. No luggage rack, no storage for clothes. Had to leave luggage and clothes on floor. There’s one tiny closet that fits maybe 3 coats. No floor length mirror. Not ideal for a winter stay. The tv offered no streaming services nor air play so you could only watch cable. Completely outdated experience. Blinds are not fully light blocking.

Great hotel - super clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, and the location is really convenient. Rooms were great -- plenty of space with no street noise at all. Highly recommend!

RUN! Do not book this hotel. I’m here now, and it’s one of the most outdated “4.5-star” hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The touch and smell of the carpet, the scratched furniture, the mold in the bathroom, the holes in the bedsheets, and the faded blinds all started with an unwelcoming front desk person. Even the elevator and the carpet on the hallways are in poor condition. It couldn’t have been worse. I’m speechless. My mistake. I booked it through Hotwire as a surprise for my daughter, thinking it was a “4.5-star” hotel.

Stayed for 6 nights in December, fantastic base for exploring NYC. We had a suite and the room was big, slightly dated but full of character. Comfy bed and good shower. We liked the bar area, overlooking Empire State building and the fruit, teas and coffees in the morning were a nice touch. The little gym on floor 3 was good and he really quiet. We did have to ask for extra bedding for the sofa bed twice, and the sofa bed was not very comfortable but other than that we thought this was a great hotel

Tv was broken in the room, was moved to second room where another TV mount literally fell from the wall during our stay, was told by engineer the TV was only recently mounted and was not mounted to a stud but was mistakenly mounted to drywall. Dont understand why the quality of the rooms were so poor with the price they are charging...
